NYCC 12 Exclusive Dork Night Edition Ice Scream Man by Brutherford

I think it’s safe to say this is my new favorite Ice Scream Man colorway! As you all know The Blot goes batty over comic book inspired colorways, so of course I got pretty excited about Brutherford’s New York Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive The Dork Night Edition Ice Scream Man. Sold exclusively at Clutter Magazine’s NYCC booth #3004, The Dork Night Edition Ice Scream Man rocks a vintage Batman color scheme, a zip atone cone wrapper and wears a domino mask sure to fool even his closest friends. This 7.5” tall figure has a limited edition run size of just 30 pieces, includes a Dork Night sticker and will retail for $110 each.

Be sure to stop by the Clutter booth on Friday, October 12th, from 4-7pm and on Sunday, October 14th, from 12-5pm when Brutherford will be at the booth for a very special signing. SDCC 12 Exclusive HorrOrange Ice Scream Man by Brutherford

Brutherford is bringing his popular Ice Scream Man to San Diego Comic-Con for the very first time in a beautiful orange colorway entitled “HorrOrange”! Two sizes of this SDCC exclusive were created: a 7.5” Standard Edition HorrOrange Ice Scream Man ($75) and a mini 3” version ($20). Both have a limited edition run size of 30 pieces and can be purchased exclusively at the Dragatomi SDCC booth #4935. If his Flickr photostream is any indication, Bryan Brutherford has been hard at work in his secret layer concocting new and more devilish flavors of his popular Ice Scream Man vinyl figure! Everything I’ve seen coming from Brutherford Industries these days has been freaking mind blowing, and I can’t wait to find out what’s next. In the mean time, find out the two newest flavors of the Ice Scream Man: Malevolent Minstachio and Badass Brown.

Malevolent Mintstachio, a special concoction mixing the world’s most popular green flavors (mint and pistachio), and Badass Brown each stand 7.5” tall, have limited edition run sizes of 125 pieces, and come signed and numbered by the artist. Metallic Ice Scream Man Flavors by Brutherford Industries & BMP Co.

The Blot was so bummed when I learned this awesome collaboration between Brutherford Industries and Brown Magic Paint Company was already sold out before I even found out about them! That’s what I get for falling way behind on my email. But these metallic colorways of Brutherford Industries’ signature figure, the Ice Scream Man, were just too cool not to blog about. BMP Co. did a fantastic job giving these figures their trademark sparkly magic metallic treatment.

Two extremely limited flavors were hand painted by the Brown Magic Paint Co., “Heavy Metal Mint” and “Stainless Steel Strawberry.” Only five of each flavored Ice Scream Man were created, and these bad boy sold out almost instantly upon release. Each figure retailed for $115, came signed and numbered by Brutherford and Brown Magic Paint Company, and was packaged in a pinstriped box customized with hand painted details by BMP Co. The Ice Scream Man Vinyl Figure by Brutherford Industries

The Ice Scream Man came to Brutherford in a vision after a freak accident involving a toilet and a clock (use your imagination). A creature of pure evil, the Ice Scream Man is a bringer of cavities and brain freezes! The first two colorways of Brutherford Industries’ Ice Scream Man rotocast urethane figures went on sale this week and boy do they look sick! The first two foul flavors are Spiteful Strawberry ($75) and Villainous Vanilla ($50). The Vanilla flavorway will be an open edition while the Strawberry is the first of 3 flavorways limited to 125 pieces each. Both are currently available for purchase at Brutherford’s online store.
