ESC Toy’s newest Little Axe colorway hit their webstore last weekend and it looks awesome! The Little Axe Red by Erick Scarecrow is a two figure set that includes one 6" Little Axe Red hand painted resin figure, one 3" Wolf head hand painted resin figure, and two ax accessories: the Sweet Steel Axe and The Blue Truth Teller Axe. Each figure comes signed and numbered by Erick and is limited to just 15 pieces. Collectors can pick up this exciting new release (while supplies last) at the ESC Toy online store for $150 per set.

Little Axe Mars Slayer Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

Tomorrow, ESC Toy is releasing the newest colorway of what has quickly become my favorite Erick Scarecrow resin figure, Little Axe! Little Axe Mars Slayer is actually a two figure set, which includes Little Axe in clear blue resin with metallic paints and a lopped off wolf head. There are so many great details to this figure and the metallic paint really makes Little Axe shine.

Little Axe Mars Slayer has a limited edition run size of 12 pieces and will retail for $250 each. Pick one up at ESC Toy’s online store tomorrow, February 29th, at 11am EST.

ESC Toy's NYCC 2011 Exclusives

When The Blot got ESC Toy’s latest newsletter I was blown away, to say the least. Erick Scarecrow has been crazy busy these past few months compiling an impressive list of New York Comic-Con 2011 Exclusives. ESC Toy will have over 9 different throughout NYCC, so you might as well just plan on camping out at their booth (#781) throughout the long weekend.

Crow Crow Bear Copper by Erick Scarecrow

The third colorway in the Crow Crow Bear collection will be the Copper colorway. This figure has a combination of metallic paints (copper, gold, silver and metal) with a striking mint on the eyes. "I Think You're Soopa!" by Steff Bomb

This year ESC Toy join forces again with plush stuffing champion Steff Bomb on the “I Think You’re Soopa” plush figure! This 9" plush figure will be available on October 15th at 3PM EST during artist Steff Bomb's signing at ESC’s NYCC booth #781. This handmade plush will come poly-bagged, has a limited edition run size of only 15 pieces and will retail for $44.99.

Little Axe Ginger Green by Erick Scarecrow

Little Axe returns in the new head lopping "Ginger Green" colorway. This is the 5th colorway in the Little Axe collection and is limited to only 15 pieces. This 6” hand-painted resin figure comes dipped in metallic green paint, comes signed and numbered by artist, and packaged in an ESC box. The next colorway for the Wet-Suit Maria collection is the Moon Jumper. Limited to only 50 pieces, this 6" vinyl figures come packed in a window box with blister tray packaging. West-Suit Maria Moon Jumper retails for $39.99 and will go on sale at the ESC Toy NYCC booth #781 on October 13th at 4pm EST.

Turtum Micci Gang by Erick Scarecrow

New for this year is the Turtum Micci mini resin figure assortment. This is the 2nd Yarn Schroom colorway after the Purple Yarn Shroom, which was available through the Skratch Scavenger Hunt. Limited to just 15 pieces, each hand-painted Yarn Schroom Poison Fang resin figure comes signed and numbered by artist, packaged in a reveal box and retails for $39.99. This 3.25" figure will go on sale exclusively at the ESC online store on October 14th.

Pinnola Warhol Resin Figure

Now for the main release! New for 2011 is Pinnola, Erick Scarecrow's twist on the classic Pinocchio fairy tale. The Blot loves Erick’s pink and white Warhol colorway, and it definitely looks killer on this new sculpt. Each 6.5" hand-painted Pinnola Warhol resin figure comes signed and numbered by artist, is packaged in an ESC box and retails for $124.99. This all new figure has a limited edition run size of 25 pieces, and does require some minor assembly. This release will be available starting October 13th at 4pm EST at the ESC Toy booth.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Little Axe Pinku Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

ESC Toy announced Erick Scarecrow’s second San Diego Comic-Con 2011 exclusive late last week, and it’s entitled Little Axe Pinku. This limited edition resin figure is painted with hi-gloss pink and will be available beginning on Thursday, July 21st at the ESC Toy SDCC booth. Each figure comes with a special 8”x10” giclee print by Japanese Manga Artist Moa. This is a benefit figure, and 50% of all sales of the Little Axe Pinku will be donated to Japan relief. How cool is that? This Pinku colorway is limited to only 15 pieces though, so if you’re hoping to add one of the cute ‘n deadly figures to your collection you’d better find your way to Erick’s booth on Thursday!

The amazing resin releases from ESC Toy just keep on coming! Their newest figure is the Little Axe Snow Forest colorway by Erick Scarecrow. This colorway is limited to just 30 pieces and is a Vince Toy Studio & Shop Taiwan exclusive. Each 6" hand painted resin figure is signed, numbered and packaged by the artist, and includes a lightweight removable axe accessory. Snow Forest Little Axe’s Story: Previously, an obnoxious wolf had lost one of his paws by the chop of a little girl's axe. His pride was hurt and he decided to trade some of his valuable fur for a weapon with a local blacksmith. Time had passed and snow blanketed the forest. The wolf practiced with his weapon everyday.

One afternoon, the wolf spotted another little girl dressed in white trying to chop wood. Flashbacks of his last encounter with a little girl drove him into a rage. As he leaped aiming to cut her in two, her twin sister dropped from above and beheaded him. A trap set up by the Snow Forest Twins to grow their collection of wolf heads.

The Dark Hood colorway is an ESC Toy exclusive and is limited to just 30 pieces! Less than 30 of these figures will go on sale May 28, 2010 at 11am EST for $110 at the ESC eBay store.


The story of Little Axe: Once upon a time, there was a badass little girl that lived in a city near a forest. She was in need of gloves because her little hands were cold. She entered the forest and encountered a loud mouth wolf that boasted about how his claws could shred little girls like her into pieces. The little girl wasn't threatened but intrigued by the wolf's paws, especially since they would match her boots. They exchanged a few looks and moments later the little girl came out of the forest with a brand new glove. The wolf managed to escape and decided it was best not to mess around with little girls anymore.
