Toy Titans Toytem Vinyl Figure by Gary Ham

This Friday, December 20th, Gary Ham will be releasing the Toy Titans Toytem, which is quite possibly the greatest collaboration in the history of designer toys! Designed by Gary, the Toy Titans Toytem celebrates five important contributors to the world of designer toys: Lulubell Toy Bodega, SpankyStokes.com, Rotofugi, Dragatomi, and Clutter Magazine/The Designer Toy Awards. The Toy Titans Toytem stands 11.5” tall and is comprised of five stacked vinyl pieces, each representing the mascot of a “toy titan.”

As with Gary’s previously released Monster Toytem, the Toy Titans Toytem is fully interchangeable and stackable. It can even be combined with the Monster Toytem! The Toy Titans Toytem is limited to just 300 pieces, will retail for $85 and can be purchased at Gary Ham’s online store as well as LulubellToys.com, Dragatomi.com, SpankyStokes.limitedrun.com, Rotofugi.com and Cluttermagazine.com. This is the only colorway the Toy Titans Toytem will be produced in, so be sure to grab one while you can and help support those that keep the designer toy scene going strong.

Grayscale Classic Edition Monster Toytem Vinyl Figure Set by Gary Ham

The much anticipated third colorway of Gary Ham’s popular Monster Toytem vinyl toy set goes on sale later today! The Classic Edition Monster Toytem features a monotone grayscale color scheme, and includes 7 stackable and interchangeable vinyl figures that combine to form the mighty Toytem. Each individual piece stands 2” tall and stacks to a monsterous height of 14 inches. The Blot got to see this fun figure at DCon 2012 and it is awesome. I really love all the different expressions Gary included in this fun toy.

The grayscale Classic Edition Monster Toytem by Gary Ham has a limited edition run size of just 100 pieces and retails for $85 each exclusively at Gary Ham’s online store today, February 1st, at 11am PST for $85 each. Kidrobot Exclusive Monster Toytem by Gary Ham

Gary Ham and Kidrobot have teamed up to release a very special colorway of his new self-produced Monster Toytem 14” vinyl figure! This scary and stackable toy is pretty awesome, and The Blot was blown away last weekend when I finally got to see this figure in person last weekend at Designer Con. I especially love that Gary has started making custom, handmade wooden pieces to add to your production Toytems. Each individual piece stands 2” tall and comes stamped on the bottom with Kidrobot x Ham.

DCon 12 Exclusive Painted Clear Purple Wooper Looper & More by Gary Ham!

Designer Con 2012 is just a few days away and the killer exclusives are coming fast and furious! Not to be outdone, Gary Ham is bringing a boatload of amazing toys to DCon this year, including a certain 5.25” water monster we all know and love. The Designer Con 2012 Exclusive Painted Clear Purple Wooper Looper is actually being released in three different colorways: Silver with Black Spray, Metallic Purple Spray, and Deep Violet Matte Spray. All three look awesome, and each version has a limited edition run size of just 8 pieces. Pick one (or all three) up at Gary’s DCon booth #225 for $65 each.

Gary will also have two colorways of his new Monster Toytems available for sale at his DCon booth. The OG Technicolor colorway will retail for $75, while the Kidrobot Exclusive colorway will retail for $85. And that’s not all! At DCon’s Suckcarnival, participants will be able to win the Talking Sucklord double sided plush Gary designed. These look awesome and The Blot definitely wants to get my hands on one!

Monster Toytem Stackable Vinyl Toy Set by Gary Ham

Gary Ham has put the Monster Toytem, his newest self produced vinyl figure, up for pre-sale at his online store, and it’s awesome! The Monster Toytem is a stackable and interchangeable 7 piece vinyl toy set that allows you to combine all seven 2" figures into a monsterous 14" totem. What The Blot loves about this figure is how outside of the box it is. Yes there have been stackable blind box toys in the past, but I would rather buy a set with seven completely different pieces than the same figure over and over with slightly different colors. The Monster Toytem is just another example what can be done in the designer art toy world with a little outside the box thinking!
