San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Exclusive Funko Pop! & Vinyl Soda Figures

Funko will be at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 this week where they will be releasing a ton of new convention exclusive Pop! and Vinyl Soda figures!  However, as is with the trend with Funko exclusives recently, almost all of them are shared exclusives, which will be available at other retailers as well. UCC Distributing will be at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 again this year where they will be releasing this wild SDCC 2023 Exclusive Sesame Street “Streetwear” Plush Collection! “Elmo Kong” Sesame Street x King Kong Resin Figure by Doug Nagle x Bottleneck Gallery

Cookiezilla has laid dormant for just under a year, and in the creature’s absence, a new adversary rises! Today, Bottleneck Gallery continues to honor the legacy of artist and brilliant sculptor Gabriel Marquez with the newest entry in the Cookiezillaverse – Elmo Kong! BNG will be donating 10% of all profits made from the sale of this figure to the Pediatric Tumor Foundation.

As BNG explained, “Gabriel’s original character and statue, Cookiezilla, is a truly special project for us. Gabriel’s unfortunate passing in 2021 was a devastating loss in so many ways, and we hope continuing to build upon the Cookiezillaverse alongside his family and artists and sculptors we trust helps Gabriel’s artistic spirit live on. Working off of a concept by Doug Nagle, we’ve brought Cookiezilla’s most fierce (so far!) adversary to life as an incredibly detailed resin statue. Elmo Kong is both oddly cuddly and fearsome, making Doug’s unique addition to the Cookiezillaverse a perfect fit!”

Elmo Kong is a hand painted 8” resin figure with interchangeable heads.  The Regular Red Edition is limited to 300 pieces and will retail for $100, while the Ping Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $115. As Bottleneck Gallery explained, “Gabriel’s original creation, Cookiezilla, continues to be one of our favorite original creations. Shin-Cookiezilla Resin Figure by Gabriel Marquez x Bottleneck Gallery

SDCC 2020 Exclusive False Idols Mini Art Show by ADi

San Diego Comic-Con 2020 may be canceled, but that doesn’t mean the exclusives have been! Comic-Con at Home is just around the corner, and DKE Toys will be releasing a ton of awesome exclusives. This includes hosting a mini art show by artist ADi entitled “False Idols”! ADi is an Australian born artist who caught DKE Toys’ attention with his series called False Idols. Each False Idol is a one of a kind handmade wooden statue that reduces a character’s traits to simple colors and geometric shapes. DKE Toys was fortunate to receive about a dozen pieces, which range in price from $140-240 each.

Yesterday, KAWS released his adorable BFF plush in a new pink colorway. The Blot doesn’t know when KAWS officially added Pink to his rotation of colorways, but this edition definitely stands out compared to his usual Grey, Black and Brown Editions.
