Star Wars: Return of the Jedi “A Galaxy in Conflict” Print by Ann Bembi x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery is releasing the newest Star Wars print by artist Ann Bembi! Star Wars Princess Leia & Wicket Portrait Prints by Mike Mitchell x Mondo

Mondo, in partnership with Acme Archives, continues its insanely popular Star Wars Portrait Series by Mike Mitchell this weekend with two new characters from a galaxy far, far away! This release includes Princess Leia donning her iconic Hoth jumpsuit and everyone’s favorite Endorian Ewok, the mighty Wicket. Mondo’s first Mitchell portrait release off 2017 is especially special, as it pays tribute to Carrie Fisher who was taken from her adoring fans way too soon. Flat Bonnie is heading to WonderCon 2016 and bringing with her some killer Star Wars inspired exclusives. Along with three new WonderCon exclusive colorways of her adorable BunEwok (that’s Flat Bonnie the Bunny cosplaying as an Ewok), Flat Bonnie is also debuting her newest creation, PiggiEwok! PiggiEwok is a Flat Cavy in cosplay as a resident of Endor. Those Stormtroopers won’t know what hit them when BunWok and PiggiEwok leap out of the tall Endor trees.

Star Wars Original Trilogy Tsum Tsum Plush Series by Disney

On Tuesday, February 16th, Disney will launch its all new line of Star Wars Tsum Tsum! The Force will definitely be strong in these stackably soft collectible plush figures. For Star Wars Tsum Tsum Series 1, Disney has turned its focus on the franchise’s original trilogy. It will include Tsum Tsum plushes of heroes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Yoda and Wicket the Ewok, as well as villains Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Jabba the Hutt and a Stormtrooper.

All of these awesome Star Wars Tsum Tsum Plushes will be available in the popular 3.5” mini size at DisneyStore.com and Disney Store retail locations for $4.95. No word yet on which characters will be released as 11" medium and 17" large Tsum Tsums, but I assume we will see at least two in the large scale plushes. I expect at the very least to see Darth Vader and Chewbacca released in the medium or large sizes, and The Blot would love a large Boba Fett Tsum Tsum!

Star Wars: The Original Trilogy Screen Print Series by Ty Mattson

Acclaimed graphic designer Ty Mattson has just released a really striking, officially licensed Star Wars screen print series celebrating the original trilogy!!! Mattson wanted to combine his appreciation for mid-century modern design with his passion for Star Wars, which blossomed into this epic Star Wars Modern series. Produced in association with Acme Archives, Ty has created three movie posters for each film, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Each Star Wars Modern screen print by Ty Mattson is available in two sizes, 18”x24” and 8”x10”, and come printed on 100lb French Paper by Vahallah Studios. The run size of each 18”x24” print varies from between 225 pieces to 475 pieces, every print comes signed and numbered by the artist, and most (but not all) feature a metallic ink. These larger, limited edition prints retail for $50 or you can purchase a complete set of nine prints for $400!

The 8”x10” Star Wars Modern screen prints are only available as three piece sets. These smaller prints are open edition and unsigned. Star Wars Pop! Series 4 Vinyl Figures by Funko

Funko actually released its fourth wave of Star Wars Pop! figures a few weeks ago, but sadly The Blot just can’t keep up with Funko’s prolific Pop! release schedule anymore. But that doesn’t make this series any less epic! Star Wars Pop! Vinyl Figure Bobble Head Wave 4 includes R2-D2, Wicket the Ewok, Lando Calrissian, Admiral Ackbar, Queen Amidala and the dreadful Jar Jar Binks. I don’t know about you, but I always love adding more Billie Dee Williams to the collection!

kaNO X Lord Mesa Custom Ewok Kalua Moola Resin Figure

The folks at Argonaut Resin recently asked kaNO to do a one off custom of one of their newest figures, Kalua Moola by Lord Mesa. For those of you unfamiliar with Lord Mesa, he is a cool west coast Illustrator and new comer to the toy scene. kaNO is always channeling his inner Jedi, so you know he was going to have to do something Star Wars related. He has gone and turned Kalua Moola into one of the world’s most popular Ewoks, Wicket. This little guy would definitely look killer next to kaNO’s Boba-Def figure!
