Zinewolf Dead Presidents Edition Vinyl Figure by Hateball

Ooh, earlier this week Hateball surprised his legion of fans by dropping one final Zinewolf release for 2016! The Dead Presidents Edition Zinewolf (on sale now) looks freaking insane. I’m amazed how Hateball and DSKI One were able to transform the Zinewolf into a colorway that really looks like it was made out of real US currency. As Justin Jewett of Hateball explains, “I've had a fascination with the visual aspects of money/coinage for a long time; a fascination that is not completely disconnected from my Arcane Sigil project.”

The Dead Presidents Zineworlf is cast in white vinyl and features multiple green and black rubs. Each figure features 6 points of articulation and includes a magnetically attached beast mask. Collectors can pick one up now at the Hateball online store for $65. Every figure includes a 24 page zine and a ¾” enamel pin. Some very lucky collectors will even receive a super limited edition Hateball coin!

“Duck Wolf” Donald Duck Inspired Zinewolf Vinyl Figure by Hateball

Hateball’s Zinewolf is back with an entirely new personality! The Duck Wolf pays tribute to the Mouse’s perpetually angry best friend. A shaky friend who nobody really knows. Nobody knows why he's content with position #2. Nobody knows why everybody wants to talk about the times he gets mad but nobody wants to talk about the times he's just a fun dude. The duck. The Duck Wolf Zinewolf is a kitbashed vinyl figure cast in black vinyl. This 6.5” figure includes a Donald Duck mask, which magnetically attaches to the haunted Hateball figure underneath. Each figure comes with a 20 page zine, stickers and a ¾” enamel pin. Collectors can purchase this Disney inspired figure now at the Hateball online store for $55.

“Zinkeshi” Zinewolf M.U.S.C.L.E. Pink Vinyl Figure by Hateball

Check out the awesome M.U.S.C.L.E. inspired colorway of Hateball’s Zinewolf vinyl figure! As Hateball explained, “I love MUSCLE, I love mashups, and I love Zinewolf. So obviously I needed to make this version for myselt...and for you.” Cast in M.U.S.C.L.E. pink “flesh” soft Japanese vinyl, each 6.5” Zinewolf also includes a matching keshi-style “flesh” M.U.S.C.L.E. version of Zinewolf! That’s two epic figures for the price of one!

“Green Scene” Zinewolf Vinyl Figure by Hateball

Last Friday (April 10th), Hateball released the newest colorway of his adorably twisted vinyl figure, the “Green Scene” Zinewolf! What makes this figure extra special is the story behind it. According to Hateball, this is “the vision I've had since the inception of this creepy little creep. I collect green, unpainted toys. So naturally I've made a gang of dudes to fit into my collection. There are some spares, and as such, I am sharing them with you, Zinewolf's public.” A vinyl figure made by a toy collector to fit in his own collection. Gotta love a story like that!

There were only 5-6 “Green Scene” Zinewolf vinyl figures created in a variety of shades of green, including a translucent light green with gold pearl, a darker green with even darker fleck in it, avocado green, a lime/glow swirl, and a mixture of them all. Each figure stands 5-7” tall, features 6 points of articulation, and includes a magnetically attached beast mask. These awesome figures retailed for just $65 at the Hateball online store and included a copy of the new Green Scene Zinewolf zine. Unfortunately for us all, they almost immediately upon release.

Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection by Hateball

The Blot can’t even begin to decipher the meaning behind Hateball’s Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection, but man are these four designs awesome! The “Spongebob Seele” is evidently a mash-up for SponegeBob SquarePants and the sigil (the triangle with 3 eyes on one side and 4 on the other) from the popular anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The Zinewolf, Hateball’s flagship toy, is the subject of two different designs in this Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection, one by Lynn Tobin and one by Daggers for Teeth. The Zinewolf is a wild character that has been released in a number of epic colorways, and The Blot loves seeing different artists’ take on this unique creation. Last but definitely not least is “Therefore, Mickey”, which features Disney’s favorite mouse on a black tee giving Hateball a shout-out.

The Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection by Hateball is currently available for purchase in extremely limited quantities via the Hateball online store. Each shirt retails for just $25 each and comes in sizes S-XXL (although many sizes are already sold out).

DCon Exclusive “Ghost” Marbled Zinewolf Vinyl Figure by Hateball

Although this is not the typical style of vinyl figure you’ll find reviewed here at The Blot Says, I find myself really loving Hateball’s new Zinewolf vinyl figure! There’s something about the Zinewolf’s mask that really draws me in. I love that crazy Ed "Big Daddy" Roth vibe it’s giving off! While at Designer Con 2014, Hateball had with him a very limited run of these awesome marbled unpainted “Ghost” Edition Zinewolfs. Cast a killer swirl of black, orange and glow in the dark soft Japanese vinyl, this 5-7” tall DCon 2014 exclusive colorway retailed for $90 each. I haven’t heard if this third Zinewolf colorway sold out last weekend or not, but if you want to try to get one I recommend emailing Hateball here ASAP!

Rumor has it there are also a few of these awesome orange and black Halloween Zinewolf vinyl figures still available! For Zinewolf’s second release, Hateball released the Laughing Lycan in semi-translucent, brighter-than-bright safety orange, and gloss-as-f*ck, blacker-than-black black soft Japanese vinyl.
