Flesh & Plum Baby Deadbeet PVC Mini Figures by Scott Tolleson

Scott Tolleson’s popular Deadbeet is back, but this time in a cute 1.5” mini figure form! You see, Tolleson’s Deadbeet was originally designed as a possible inclusion in October Toys’ OMFG! mini figure series akin to the old school M.U.S.C.L.E. series that’s all the rage these days. When it wasn’t chosen for inclusion in OMFG! Series 1, Scott decided to move forward with a self-produced 7.5” Sofubi version of the character, and The Blot’s pretty glad he did! If you haven’t seen one in person yet, this figure is seriously all kinds of awesome.

Thankfully October Toys decided it also wanted to produce a Kinkeshi style mini figure of Deadbeet that fits in well with other mini figures such as OMFG! And from that comes the Baby Deadbeet you see here! Designed by Scott Tolleson and sculpted by George Gaspar, the Baby Deadbeet is currently available for purchase through the October Toys online store in two killer colorways (OG Flesh and Proto Plumb) for just $2 each! The Blot already received my order and these figures are great. Hit up my Instagram stream to see more pics!

Disney/Pixar Mystery Minis Blind Box Mini Figure Series by Funko

Following its huge announcement of a new DC Comics x Domo blind box mini figure series, Funko will also be releasing a killer new Disney/Pixar Mystery Mini blind box series! This new release features 8 beloved Disney/Pixar characters each in 3 charming poses. It’s seriously crazy how cute these 2.5” vinyl figures are!

This is a pretty unique series in that there are three versions of every character, which includes Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Maleficent, Tinker Bell, Sulley, Mike, Stitch and Jack Skellington. Each character expression also has its own ratio, with happy Pooh, laughing Sulley and squinting Jack each featuring an extremely hard to find ratio of 1/144! This is going to be one awesome, yet hard to complete, blind box series!

The Disney/Pixar Mystery Minis Mini Figure Series goes on sale February 28, 2013, and features 24 blind boxes per case. Pick one up next month for just $5.95 each.

Threadless Superman “Super LOL” T-Shirt

Super LOL by Hillary White

The Blot loves funny super hero inspired designs, and this new Superman t-shirt from Threadless entitled “Super LOL” is pretty ridiculous (in a good way). It riffs on what a joke Superman’s “Clark Kent” secret identity is considering all he does is put on a pair of glasses. To drive home that fact, “Super LOL” features DC Comics’ Man of Steel in a variety of silly disguises, including a clown nose, a mustache and an eye patch. The Blot wishes they had used the classic Groucho Marx “fake nose and eyebrow glasses”, but that’s probably a little too similar to his Clark Kent look.

The Threadless Superman t-shirt “Super LOL” comes printed on a natural t-shirt (sizes S-2XL) and is currently available for purchase at Threadless.com for $20.

The Wolf Rider Custom Figure by Huck Gee

I know I say this a lot, but Huck Gee just blew my mind with this amazing custom figure The Wolf Rider! Every time I think Huck can’t outdo himself he releases something incredible. I don’t know how he comes up withal these amazing figures, but this custom wolf is just plain sick!!! And the Wolf Rider custom Munny ain’t too shabby either. Each Wolf Rider custom figure comes signed and numbered by Huck and includes all of the crazy accessories show here. Only 10 figures were created, each retailing for $1,600 each. The Blot’s not sure if any are still available, but if you’re interested email Huck ASAP at sales@huckgee.com to reserve your Wolf Rider today!

The Wolf Rider: "Beneath the masks lie expert warriors, handpicked and rigorously tested by General Shirokuri himself. The wolves they ride are massive, fearsome, wintery beasts with minds as sharp as their claws and teeth. The bond is a lifelong commitment, paired when the wolf is still a suckling pup. They spend the rest of their days together. Eating, training, sleeping, the two become one. There is no distinction between beast and rider once joined in battle, communicating through a complex system of touches, motions and whispers, allowing them to be as effective in the roar of a battlefield as when prowling an enemy on padded paws in a hushed forest." - Chapters of the North, Volume III by Mahotsukai Hoohige

Television Series 2 based on the hit AMC TV show is going to be super popular with fans of the zombie-centric tale of survival! Each The Walking Dead Pop! Television Series 2 vinyl figure stands 3.75” tall, has a rotating head and comes in a displayable window box. These figures are not scheduled to hit stores until April 2013, but you can pre-order them now from Entertainment Earth for $9.99 each here.

Game of Thrones Pop! Television Series 2 by Funko

One of The Blot’s favorite guilty pleasures is the crazy HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones! Each episode is its own mini-movie with so many insane things happening in Westeros. I love the series so much I’ve even purchased the books the TV series is based on, but honestly they’re all so long it’s a little daunting. I’ll get around to them eventually. In the meantime I’ll definitely be picking up Funko’s second wave of GoT Pop! vinyl figures. The first 6 figure series was a HUGE hit with fans and I’ve got a sinking suspicion people are going to be going crazy for Game of Thrones Pop! Series 2.

Game of Thrones Pop! Series 2 includes Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Jamie Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Robb Stark and Renly Baratheon. While not as exciting a line-up as Series 1, it’s still got some very heavy hitters. Robb Stark’s kind of a bland character, and although Renly was a surprise inclusion he looks awesome! And The Blot can’t wait to pick Jon Snow and Arya.

Each Game of Thrones Pop! Series 2 vinyl figure stands 3.75” tall, has a rotating head and comes in a displayable window box. These figures are not scheduled to hit stores until May 2013, but you can pre-order them now from Entertainment Earth for $9.99 each here.

“Pierced: Shades of Grey” Vinyl Sculpture by Parra & Kidrobot

Never one to miss out on an opportunity to cash in on a popular release, Kidrobot has teamed up with world renowned Dutch artist Parra to release a second colorway of his immensely popular Pierced vinyl figure. For Pierced: Shades of Grey, Parra turns the bright hues of his original art piece to muted shades of grey. The contrasting matte and high gloss 10” vinyl sculpture has no front or back, instead it tells its story in the round.

Pierced: Shades of Grey depicts two figures entwined and suspended in a dramatic dance of passion and pain. This fiery embrace between two lovers, one clothed and one nude, changes from an ecstatic and intimate moment to an impaling brutal display of empowerment all based on the direction you are looking at the piece.

Produced as a limited edition of 750 with Parra’s signature engraved on the bottom, Pierced: Shades of Grey goes on sale on January 31st at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers worldwide for $150.
