Therefore Ghost Mini Figure by Hateball

Hateball has just released a spooky little rubber mini figure, the Therefore Ghost, and The Blot just loves the symbolism behind it! As you can tell from the many items available on the Hateball webstore there are two pretty big themes running throughout, ghosts and the therefore symbol - ∴ - which is most commonly used in mathematical and theorem notation. Inspired by a little rubber ghost that Hateball’s son pulled from the treasure box at school for being a good boy, with a simple rotation of the ghost’s face the Therefore Ghost was born! Now it’s a harbinger of thereforedom that brings cheer into the lives of others.

Produced by Trutek, the Therefore Ghost mini figure stands 1.5” tall and was cast in white rubber. You can pick one up at the Hateball online store for just $8.

Marbled Bones & Lucky Vinyl Figures by Mike Egan

Mike Egan has just released two bad ass marbled colorways of his Bones and Lucky vinyl figures! First up is the Yellow and Green Marbled Bones, which looks fantastic. The Blot loves the shades of green and yellow. It looks like it was just excavated from ancient burial site! The Yellow and Green Marbled Bones is limited to just 15 pieces and retails for $65.

The Red and Yellow Marbled Lucky is even crazier looking! I don’t know about you, but just looking at it makes me kind of hungry. It reminds me of a hotdog slathered in ketchup and mustard. Ok, maybe that’s just me! The Red and Yellow Marbled Lucky is limited to just 20 pieces and will retail for $65.

Both figures are cast in soft Japanese vinyl and come bagged with a header card. Look for both figures to show up in your favorite designer art toy store sometime very, very soon!

Garbage Pail Kids Mystery Minis Blind Box Series & Adam Bomb 9” Vinyl Figure by Funko

Just when I thought Funko’s Mystery Minis Blind Box Series couldn’t get any better, the toy company announces a new line of officially licensed Garbage Pail Kids vinyl figures! The Blot’s been waiting decades for good GPK toys and I still can’t believe they’re actually coming. Not only that, but Funko is also releasing a beautiful Adam Bomb 9” vinyl figure. How amazing is all this!?! It’s like the ‘80s all over again.

The Garbage Pail Kids Mystery Minis Series includes 2.5” vinyl figures of Adam Bomb, Dead Ted, New Wave Dave, Ghostly Ashley, Nasty Nick, Bony Tony, Leaky Lindsay, Tee-Vee Stevie, Hot Scott, Mad Mike, Ali Gator and Clark Can't.

Healeymade has taken his popular Bounty Wrestlers, an awesome mash-up of Star Wars bounty hunters and Lucha Libre wrestlers, to the next level by shrinking them down to chibi size! I mean just look at this adorable Mini IG-BABA resin figure. How can something so dangerous be so cute!?! The Mini IG-BABA stands 2.25” tall and is cast in killer glow in the dark resin. Arrow & The Flash TV Series Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko

Besides LOST, the two television shows The Blot’s been hoping to see Funko give the Pop! treatment were The CW’s Arrow and The Flash! Thankfully I haven’t had to wait very long to see DC Comics’ most popular television shows turned into awesome vinyl figures. I know I’m biased, but these look fantastic! You really can’t get more show accurate. Arrow Pop! Television Series 1 includes The Arrow, Oliver Queen, Black Canary and the deadly Deathstroke, while The Flash Pop! Television Series 1 includes The Flash and Captain Cold. But where’s Cisco!?!

Each Arrow and The Flash TV Series Pop! vinyl figure stands 3.75”, features one point of articulation and come packaged in a full color displayable window box. While these DC figures aren’t expected to hit store shelves until May 2015, you can pre-order them now from Entertainment Earth for $9.99 each here.

The Simpsons “Springfield Gorge” Screen Print by Mark Englert

Earlier today Dark Ink Art and Acme Archives Direct launched their newest timed release screen print, and it’s a beauty! They’ve teamed up once again with artist Mark Englert to release an awesome The Simpsons poster entitled “Springfield Gorge.” Based on The Simpsons Season 2 episode “Bart the Daredevil”, this highflying design features Bart and Homer doing their best Evil Kenevil impression.

“Springfield Gorge” by Mark Englert is a 12”x36” The Simpsons signed and numbered screen print. Since it’s a timed release, the print’s run size will be set by the number of orders placed during a 24 hour window. The print went on sale today, Monday, February 16th, at 10am PST and will be available until tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17th, at 10am PST at the Dark Ink Art online store for $50.

Da’ Lizard Vinyl Figure by Mark Bode Available Now!

If you haven’t been picked up Mark Bode’s fantastic Da’ Lizard 11” vinyl figure yet, it’s not too late! While a few of the colorways are now sold out (Black, Gold and Rainbow), there are four colorways still available. Head over to Mark Bode’s online store now where you can pick up the Green, Brown, Magenta and unpainted White editions for $80 each. The Blot’s added a green version to my collection and it rocks! Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile 6” Scale Vehicle

Fans of Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures are going to freak out when they get their hands on this gigantic new Batmobile from DC Collectibles!!! Based on the classic ‘90s DC Comics cartoons, this animated series accurate vehicle is 24” long and can actually seat two Batman: The Animated Series 6” action figures. How freaking cool is that!?! Not only that, but this new Batmobile features light up headlights, brakes and engine, as well as independent moving wheels.

Inner Child Vinyl Figure by Nerviswr3k

SubUrban Vinyl has teamed up with Nerviswr3k to produce the Arizona based artist’s first designer vinyl figure, Inner Child! When The Blot first saw pictures of this figure from Designer Con 2014 I was blown away. I couldn’t believe Inner Child was a product piece because of how much it looked like one of Nerviswr3k’s handmade custom figures. It’s truly amazing how they were able to recreate Nerviswr3k’s sculpt into a production piece. You just don’t see this type of detail every day.

The Inner Child stands 4” tall, features articulated arms, and comes packaged in a 4 panel box adorned with art of the Inner Child’s inner self. This awesome figure is being released in 3 colorways: Red (available at select retailers), Tenacious Toys Exclusive Blue (available on March 7th) and SubUrban Vinyl Exclusive Green (available on March 21st). Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection by Hateball

The Blot can’t even begin to decipher the meaning behind Hateball’s Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection, but man are these four designs awesome! The “Spongebob Seele” is evidently a mash-up for SponegeBob SquarePants and the sigil (the triangle with 3 eyes on one side and 4 on the other) from the popular anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The Zinewolf, Hateball’s flagship toy, is the subject of two different designs in this Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection, one by Lynn Tobin and one by Daggers for Teeth. The Zinewolf is a wild character that has been released in a number of epic colorways, and The Blot loves seeing different artists’ take on this unique creation. Last but definitely not least is “Therefore, Mickey”, which features Disney’s favorite mouse on a black tee giving Hateball a shout-out.

The Friday the 13th T-Shirt Collection by Hateball is currently available for purchase in extremely limited quantities via the Hateball online store. Each shirt retails for just $25 each and comes in sizes S-XXL (although many sizes are already sold out).
