Minion Resin Figure by RenOne x MikeFX

RenOne is teaming up with MikeFX (of Rotten Resin) to release this epic new Minion resin figure! The figure is based on RenOneLab’s logo and frequent sticker subject, which itself was originally inspired by a make-up designed by legendary make-up fx artist Dick Smith. MikeFX, being a make-up fx artist himself, recognized the design and created the figure as a trade for some design work and stickers. The two designers were so happy with the figure that they’ve decided to make it available to toy collectors and FX fans everywhere!

The first wave of Minion resin figures will be a run of 10 grey DIY figures, with one “Cherry-Bomb” chase variant. These 5” resin figures go on sale at 9am PST this Friday, March 25th, at the Rotten Resin online store for just $25.

DC Super Powers Batman & Robin 12” Jumbo Vintage Action Figures by Gentle Giant

Gentle Giant has announced not one, but two new figures in its epic line of DC Comics Super Powers 12” Jumbo Vintage Action Figures. Finally DC’s beloved Caped Crusaders, Batman and Robin, are getting the jumbo treatment! Wearing their iconic uniforms, including real fabric capes, these awesome retro figures were developed using state of the art 3D technology by creating a highly accurate digital model of the original DC Super Powers action figures and scaling it to a whopping 12 inches tall.

Each DC Comics Super Powers Collection Jumbo Action Figure is made from high quality vinyl with some ABS plastic parts and features multiple points of articulation. To further capture the vintage feel, Gentle Giant has packaged these DC Comics action figures with Super Powers Collection inspired backer cards featuring original artwork in resealable plastic outer clam shells.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Screen Print by Tom Whalen x Dark Hall Mansion

Over the past few years our friends at Dark Hall Mansion have released some really beautiful and timeless prints over the past few years, but no DHM release has gotten The Blot as excited as I am for today’s release: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by Tom Whalen! Yes, you’ve read that right, Dark Hall Mansion is dropping the first officially licensed screen print for the upcoming DC Comics film opening this weekend. And what better way to commemorate the first ever live action battle between the Son of Krypton and the Bat of Gotham than with a Tom Whalen design!?!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by Tom Whalen is a 24”x36” DC Comics hand numbered screen print. The Standard Edition is limited to 280 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant is limited to just 50 pieces and will retail for $100. DHM is also producing 10 Foil Variants of each version, which will retail for $150. All four versions go on sale at 9:30am PST today, Tuesday, March 22nd, at the Dark Hall Mansion online store.

WonderCon Exclusive “Ghoul Glow” Skeletor Soft Vinyl Figure by Super7 x Gargamel

Super7 will be at WonderCon 2016 this weekend (March 25th-27th) in Los Angeles, where the San Francisco based designer toy company will be releasing this killer WC exclusive Ghoul Glow Skeletor Soft Vinyl Figure! For this release, Super7 has reimagined the classic Masters of the Universe villain Skeletor as a 1980s Japanese soft vinyl figure, sculpted by the one and only Gargamel.

The WonderCon 2016 Exclusive “Ghoul Glow” Skeletor sofubi is cast in glow in the dark soft Japanese vinyl with dark blue, yellow and grey sprays and black eyes. Each MOTU figure includes a GID Havoc Staff accessory and comes packaged in a deluxe full color window box. This 5” figure can be purchased at the Super7 WonderCon booth #2114 starting on Friday, March 25th, and then at the Super7 online store on Saturday, March 26th for around $65.

Gentle Giant has unveiled the next piece in its killer line of “Animated” Marvel Statues based on the amazing artwork of Skottie Young and his extremely popular Baby Marvel variant comic book covers! For their fourth release, Gentle Giant is releasing Young’s animated baby version of the super popular Spider-Gwen. This playful take on Spider-Man’s ex-gal pal Gwen Stacey features the hooded wonder passing the time while practicing her yo-yo.
