Bird City Saint “Hustler’s Ambition” Bird City Edition Vinyl Figure by Sentrock x UVD Toys

UVD Toys has released the fourth and final colorway of Sentrock’s awesome Bird City Saint vinyl figure, Hustler’s Ambition! Produced by UVD Toys, Hustler’s Ambition brings to life the work of the Chicago based artist and celebrates the hustle of the ubiquitous street food vendors found in Chicago and beyond. For this release, UVD Toys and Sentrock teamed up with The Greater Good barbershop in Phoenix, AZ to host a release party for the “Bird City” Edition Hustler’s Ambition. This Phoenix Suns inspired colorway pays tribute to Sentrock’s hometown of Phoenix.

Hustler’s Ambition by Sentrock is an 8” tall and 10” long vinyl figure that features Sentrock’s iconic bird character pushing a paleta cart as seen in the mural of the same name. The lid of the cart even comes off / opens so you can store small items inside. The Bird City Edition Hustler’s Ambition is limited to just 150 pieces and can be purchased now at UVDToys.com for $150.

Old Friend Bones Edition Vinyl Figure by ChrisRWK x Strangecat Toys

“X-Men: Classic” Screen Print by Eric Tan x Bottleneck Gallery x Justin Ishmael

The Blot cannot believe we’re finally getting a new X-Men print by Eric Tan.  His last officially licensed X-Men poster was way back in 2008 – and it’s totally been worth the wait! Thanks to Bottleneck Gallery, Justin Ishmael and Acme Archives Ltd., we’re getting this fantastic new design by Tan featuring the “all-new, all-different X-Men” team that debuted in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975).  This was the first total refresh of the X-Men team, and it really redefined the comic book for a generation. “X-Men: Classic” by Eric Tan is the perfect companion piece to Tan’s first X-Men print, which featured the original X-Men team.

As BNG explained, “We’ve teamed up with ISH and Acme to release Eric’s bold and bright poster for his X-Men dream team. Eric’s design aesthetics always shine strongly in his poster work, and this eXciting layout has our eyes naturally creating ‘X’ shapes as we navigate from character to character. Marvel’s Werewolf By Night Soft Vinyl Figure by James Groman x Mondo

The Blot was thrilled to hear that Mondo was continuing it’s epic line of super sized Marvel Comics Soft Vinyl Figures with Werewolf By Night by James Groman!!! It’s the perfect release to celebrate Disney+’s upcoming release of Marvel Studios’ Werewolf By Night In Color. As Mondo explained, “James Groman’s latest Mondo creation, the Werewolf By Night Vinyl Designer Figure harkens back to the character’s original Marvel Comics origins.”

The only shocking thing to The Blot is that Mondo only made 300 of this epic figure. Plus it retailed for $135, which for a James Groman 10” soft vinyl figure is super cheap. They could have easily sold double that and for sure left some money on the table (and The Blot sadly missed out on this rad piece). I assume additional colorways will be released at a future date. There's gotta be a black and white one coming soon, right!?!
