The Blot’s been following the pop culture infused artwork of NYC based artist TurtleCaps for a few years now and he never ceases to amaze me! If you’ve never seen his canvases or street art, including murals and stickers, you definitely should check out his Instagram page. I’m especially a huge fan of his TurtleCaps character and all the fantastic comic book and Star Wars TurtleCaps he paints regularly. So of course when I learned last month he was working on a new TurtleCaps resin figure The Blot was super excited!
After releasing a number of one-offs and small batches of TurtleCaps the past few weeks, the first official series of painted TurtleCaps will be releasing later today! The Mosaic TurtleCaps Series 1 includes blue, green, red, pink and purple hand painted mosaic colorways. Each resin figure stands around 3” tall, will feature a clear coat on top of these awesome mosaic hand paints and comes packaged in a plastic box.
