Something in the Cupcake Mix Volume 7 “Midnight Delights” Box Set by Johnny Cupcakes

Johnny Cupcakes’ annual Halloween release “Something in the Cupcake Mix” dropped last Friday night at midnight, and JC really went all out on this year’s release! For SITCM Volume 7, Johnny Cupcakes released a “Midnight Delights” box set that includes three spooky Halloween themed t-shirts: The Baker's Bones, Terror Rises and The Cupcake Corpse. As always, the SITCM release comes packaged in some really awesome limited edition packaging. This year’s box looks just like book.

Johnny Cupcakes There’s Something In The Cupcake Mix! Series 6 Online Exclusive

Every October Johnny Cupcakes releases a series of super limited edition Halloween inspired t-shirts entitled “There’s Something In The Cupcake Mix!” While The Blot doesn’t want to spoil this year’s SITCM Series 6 designs for those of you attending the release party at Johnny Cupcakes London this weekend, I can share this year’s online exclusive, “Robot Ovens From Mars.” The blue and yellow “Robot Ovens” SITCM t-shirt has a very cool retro propaganda style feel to it that The Blot really digs.

Each limited edition “Robot Ovens” t-shirt and SITCM Series 6 box is individually numbered out of 500 to guarantee authenticity. Johnny Cupcakes There’s Something In The Cupcake Mix! Series 5 Online Exclusives

Every October Johnny Cupcakes releases a series of super limited edition Halloween inspired tshirts entitled “There’s Something In The Cupcake Mix!” SITCM Series 5 drops tonight, October 15th, at Johnny’s two Boston locations and tomorrow night, October 16th, at the Los Angeles Johnny Cupcakes store. Thankfully for the rest of us, Johnny Cupcakes has also dropped two online exclusive SITCM t-shirts available NOW (while supplies last)!

The first There’s Something In The Cupcake Mix! Series 5 online exclusive is The Reptile Man t-shirt seen below. Each limited edition The Reptile Man t-shirt and SITCM box is individually numbered out of 300 to guarantee authenticity.

JC has also released a limited edition online exclusive Mystery Box, which contains a collectable SITCM t-shirt. Each box is individually numbered out of 300 to guarantee authenticity. This "Mystery Box" contains one Something In The Cupcake Mix design, which is different from the other releases. All mystery box tees are the same design printed on a black shirt.

Last but not least is the Johnny Cupcakes Stuffed Monsters Pillows! These limited edition hand made/hand sewn stuffed monsters are made from recycled vintage Something In The Cupcake Mix t-shirts. Each pillow has a unique limited edition number on the back and typically has dimensions of 12"x15". Stuffed Monsters will be packed at random, and certain styles not shown in the picture above.

Johnny Cupcakes "There’s Something In The Cupcake Mix" 2008 T-Shirts

Every Halloween Johnny Cupcakes releases a few all new, extremely limited edition shirts in its “There’s Something in the Cupcake Mix” t-shirt series. October is here and JC has brought the heat! The Blot is a huge movie buff so I really love the fact that the 2008 editions of the “There’s Something in the Cupcake Mix” t-shirt series feature some of the scariest men in the history of horror movies, Jason and Freddy.



These shirts are always impossible to get, so whether you’re a fan of Johnny Cupcakes or one of the movies featured in this year’s shirts (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Child’s Play, Ghostbusters) you need to act fast and wear a random size if you hope to get one!
