Acid Free Gallery is releasing 10 amazing, officially licensed screen prints exclusively at New York Comic Con 2013, including this killer rainbow blend Voltron design by Todd Slater! The Blot keeps waiting for the big resurgence in Voltron’s popularity but for some reason it never really happens. It’s the one big ‘80s property that hasn’t made a comeback yet. Clearly there’s interest in it though because awesome prints like this one and random Voltron toys continue to be produced. Maybe it just needs another new cartoon to really get things moving since Voltron Force didn't seem to do the trick.
“Voltron” by Todd Slater is an 18”x24” 6 color rainbow blend numbered screen print, with 3 metallic inks and glow in the dark ink! The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 150 pieces and will retail for $50. The Holofoil Variant features 5 colors (rainbow blend with metallic and glow in the dark inks), has a limited edition run size of 55 pieces and will retail for $70 each.
