Later today, Mondo will be releasing an awesome set of movie posters based on Edgar Wright’s Cornetto Trilogy by artist Johnny Dombrowski! As Mondo explained, “We’re continually blown away by Johnny’s illustrative prowess and his note-perfect interpretations of modern films as classic comic book covers. As iconic genre staples, Shaun of the Dead (horror), Hot Fuzz (crime), and The World’s End (fantasy) lend themselves beautifully to EC-inspired comic cover treatment.”
Each of Johnny Dombrowski’s posters for Edgar Wright’s Cornetto Trilogy is a 24”x36” hand number screen print and retails for $45. Shaun of the Dead is limited to 300 pieces, Hot Fuzz is limited to 225 pieces, and The World’s End is limited to just 200 pieces. All three prints will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, March 14th, at the Mondo online store.
