Today, Bottleneck Gallery and Raid71 breaks our little bunny hearts with a new officially licensed movie poster for Disney’s Bambi! Produced by Bottleneck Gallery and Eyeland Prints, this awesome new series includes prints based on key moments from Bambi, Fantasia, Winnie the Pooh, 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan and The Rescuers.

SXSW Flatstock 2018 Exclusive Zooball & Olen Screen Prints by Paul Pope x Nakatomi

Nakatomi will be setting up shop once again at Flatstock this year during Austin’s SXSW music conference, where they will be releasing a number of killer exclusives. From March 15th - 17th, Nakatomi will be at the Austin Convention Center along with hundreds of other silkscreen poster artists from around the world! There will actually be two killer SXSW / Flatstock 2018 exclusive Paul Pope screen prints released this week. First up is the killer “Zooball”! The red Regular Edition ($50) measures 16”x36” and is a hand numbered edition of 150 pieces, while the cream Variant is limited to just 25 pieces and retails for $60.

Collectors can also pick up Pope’s new Disney tribute print, “Olen”, which is Russian for deer. This Bambi homage is a 12’x24” hand numbered screen print limited to just 150 pieces, and retails for $40. The Lion King & Bambi Pop! Disney Vinyl Figures by Funko

The Blot decided it should be Disney Pop! week here on The Blot Says. Today we’re spotlighting Funko’s The Lion King and Bambi waves of Disney Pop! vinyl figures. Sadly these two animated films have one big thing in common, but I won’t mention that here just in case there’s someone out there that still hasn’t seen either movie. Let’s just say these Disney classics bring a smile to my face and tear to my eye every time I see them. This release includes Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, Scar, Rafiki, Bambi, Thumper and Flower.

Each Disney Movie Pop! vinyl figure stands 3.75” tall, features one point of articulation and comes packaged in a full color displayable window box. MINDstyle x Disney Stitch Mini Figure Series 1

Three weeks ago, MINDstyle released some photos that surreptitiously included a few vinyl figures that looked a whole lot like 3 inch Stitches. On Saturday, MINDstyle finally acknowledged those little Stitches and announced an all new line of 3” blind boxed Stitch mini figures! Disney’s Stitch has been gaining renewed popularity due to MINDStyle’s line of 5 inch Artist Series figures, and these new Stitch mini figures will only help to increase Stitch's standing in the world of Disney. Each upcoming series of 3" Stitch mini figures will feature Disney’s standard and vault characters, and consist of ten collectible figures and two mystery chase figures.


MINDstyle x Disney Stitch Mini Figure Series 1 will include Disney’s six core characters (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy & Pluto); three characters from the animated feature film Bambi (Bambi, Thumper & Flower); two characters from the animated feature film Dumbo (Dumbo & Timothy Q. Mouse); and Pinocchio’s black and white kitten Figaro.

Kidrobot x Disney Thumper Vinyl Figure by David Flores

Thumper kicks it David Flores style for Kidrobot and Disney’s first ever collaboration. Done in the prolific painter’s signature stained glass style, Thumper is 6-inches tall and comes in three different colorways: pink, blue, and gray.



Limited to 400 pieces per colorway and retailing for $50 each, Thumper hops into Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers this November.

David Flores x Disney x Kidrobot Thumper Vinyl Figure Photos

The Blot really loves this new Thumper vinyl figure from David Flores, Disney, and Kidrobot, and I thought you might too once you got a look at the final product. Flores posted this photo below of the black/grey Thumper colorway on his blog last week. I have to say, I never expected to see a Bambi themed vinyl figure released by Kidrobot. While I love the figure, I question giving Thumper a gold grill. I wonder what color Thumper’s teeth will be in the figure’s other two colorways.


The David Flores x Disney x Kidrobot Thumper vinyl figure will be released like most of Flores’ figures in three colorways: black/grey, blue and pink. Thumper, which stands 8 inches tall, will be released sometime in October and retail for around $50.

UPDATE: The Blot just found out that the new David Flores x Disney x Kidrobot Thumper Vinyl Figure will be coming out on October 22nd! I've also included a photo of Flores' original Thumper painting, which this new vinyl figure will be based on.

The Blot can't wait for this upcoming David Flores x Disney x Kidrobot vinyl figure collaboration. Even from this angle the Thumper figure looks awesome! This photo mysteriously showed up on Flores’ official blog yesterday and The Blot already needs to know more ASAP.


All we know for sure is what Flores put in his post’s caption: “THUMP thump...thump...shhhh! Kidrobot X DISNEY X DAVID FLORES. What could it be?” My guess is that it’s a Thumper Rabbit (from Bambi) vinyl figure (see the photo below for a better idea of what this new Thumper figure will look like).


Flores' original Mickey Mouse vinyl figure is a classic, and I can't wait to see his take on another of Disney’s classic characters. Any guesses as to which Disney character will be getting the Flores treatment next? Maybe a Donald Duck figure (hint, hint)!
