Today, Vice Press will be releasing a brand new, officially licensed Flash Gordon screen print by award-winning illustrator Peter Diamond. What an awesome new movie poster for this cult classic film! It will go on sale at 1pm ET today, Tuesday, June 29th, exclusively at Vice-Press.com.

Flash, Ah-ah!!! Today, Bottleneck Gallery is teaming up with Lawrence Noble and Galactic Gallery to bring the Savior of the Universe to a new dimension! Check out Noble’s epic original one sheet movie poster for the classic ‘80s Flash Gordon film transformed into a screen print. Flash Gordon Screen Print by Kilian Eng

Kilian Eng always creates the most epic of sci-fi movie posters, and with Flash Gordon, his latest release from Mondo, he really shows his mastery of color and otherworldly landscape. The Blot loves how Eng has perfectly recreated a key scene from the cult classic film and was able to bring it to life in his unique style.

As Kilian explains, “Flash Gordon is a film with a lot of nostalgic value for me so it was a great pleasure to get the opportunity to create a poster for it. What I love most is the total explosion of color, creative costumes and stunning set design. The film has a unique charm that you can't replicate no matter how hard you try. It’s a sci-fi disco adventure full of energy. The scene I wanted to work with is the whip fight between Flash Gordon and Prince Barin in the Hawkmen’s flying palace. It offered the opportunity for a good solid composition and gave me a chance to draw a lot of characters/costumes and the setting together in a natural way.”
