Kubo and the Two Strings Pop! Movies Vinyl Figures by Funko

Funko continues its new line of Pop! vinyl figures based on the amazing stop-motion animated feature films of Laika with a wave of figures based on Kubo and the Two Strings! The Blot’s a huge fan of Kubo and his fantastical journey across feudal Japan, through time and unknown fantasy lands, accompanied by a snow monkey named Monkey and an origami samurai warrior. Handcrafted: From Coraline to Kubo Screen Print by Cesar Moreno x Mondo x LAIKA

Mondo has an incredible line up of Black Friday releases this year, including multiple prints, pins and vinyl figures. One of The Blot’s favorites is this wonderful “Handcrafted: From Coraline to Kubo” screen print by the super talented artist Cesar Moreno, and based on the stop-motion animated films of LAIKA. The poster itself was originally created in partnership with LAIKA for the Animating Life exhibit at the Portland Art Museum.

“Handcrafted: From Coraline to Kubo” by Cesar Moreno is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Standard Edition is limited to 750 pieces and will retail for $50, while the Glow in the Dark Variant is limited to 250 pieces and will retail for $70. Kubo and the Two Strings Screen Print by César Moreno x Mondo

The Blot is a huge fan of stop-motion animation, and I especially love what Laika has been doing with the medium these past few years. Their fourth film, Kubo and the Two Strings, came out earlier this year and was amazing. To commemorate the film’s release on home video today, Mondo is releasing a new Kubo poster by César Moreno that features an amazing fight scene between Kubo, Monkey and Beatle in the Hall of Bones.

Kubo and the Two Strings by César Moreno is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. Limited to just 225 pieces, fans can purchase it at a random time today, November 22nd, at the Mondo online store for $45.

Thought Bubble 2016 Exclusive Movie Screen Prints by Matt Ferguson x Vice Press – They Live, Kubo & Star Trek

This weekend at Thought Bubble 2016, Vice Press will release three fantastic new movie poster screen prints by VP co-founder Matt Ferguson! The Blot would seriously love to add all three of these releases to my collection. Ferguson continues to knock things out of the park! These releases include posters for the John Carpenter’s cult classic They Live, the new Laika Studios’ newest film Kubo and the Two Strings and Star Trek Byond. All three releases will be available at the Vice Press Thought Bubble booth all weekend long, with any remaining prints available online at 6pm UK time on Monday, November 7th, here.

They Live by Matt Ferguson is an 18”x24” six color screen print with glow in the dark ink. The Regular Edition is limited to 120 pieces and will retail for £30, while the Variant is limited to 50 pieces and will retail for £30.

LAIKA 10th Anniversary Enamel Pin Series by Tom Whalen & Mondo

The Blot has absolutely no idea when Mondo put this epic new LAIKA 10th Anniversary Enamel Pin Series by Tom Whalen up for pre-sale, but I have to own all four! I am an absolutely huge fan of LAIKA’s 3D stop-motion animated films, and Whalen did an amazing job on these portrait pins.
