Designer Con 2019 Exclusive Mark Hamill Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko

Designer Con is teaming up with Funko to release four different convention exclusive Mark Hamill Pop! vinyl figures! What’s even cooler is that two of the Pop! feature Hamill rocking a t-shirt with his son’s Nathan’s LavaBear!!! How rad is that!?! Love that Nathan is unofficially making his first Pop! appearance. The Black LavaBear T-Shirt Mark Hamill Pop!, the Joker Suit Mark Hamill Pop! and the White LavaBear T-Shirt Mark Hamill Pop! will be available to all Designer Con 2019 attendees at the DCon booth #1805. The Purple Edition Mark Hamill Pop! is limited to just 1,000 pieces and is only available via Designer Con’s MVP Package. There’s also a limited edition Pop! and T-Shirt combo (LE 500) that includes a Black LavaBear T-Shirt Mark Hamill Pop! with a matching LavaBear T-Shirt by Nathan Hamill (as see on The Big Bang Theory).

Lavabear Winter Edition Flocked Vinyl Figure by Nathan Hamill

The Blot was thrilled to learn yesterday that after a ridiculously long hiatus, Nathan Hamill will finally be releasing a new colorway of his awesome Lavabear vinyl figure!!! Produced by 3DRetro, the Winter Edition Lavabear is a flocked arctic themed blue and white colorway. What’s really interesting about this release is that it’s the first flocked figure Nathan has ever released.

The Winter Edition Lavabear vinyl figure stands 8” tall and is limited to just 75 pieces. Collectors can purchase this fuzzy new release at 12pm PST this Friday, February 2nd, at Nathan Hamill’s onlie store for $80.

Lavabear Bronze Edition Vinyl Figure by Nathan Hamill

This weekend Nathan Hamill will be traveling to China to be a special guest at the Shanghai Comic Convention! Not only will he be participating in a “Toy Collection and Creation” panel at 12:15pm on Saturday, November 5th, but he’ll be releasing this Shanghai Comic Con Exclusive Bronze Edition Lavabear Vinyl Figure! How can you not love this super shiny new metallic colorway of Hamill’s popular Lavabear!?!

SDCC 15 Exclusive GID Edition Lavabear Vinyl Figure by Nathan Hamill

After debuting one year ago at Comic-Con 2014, Nathan Hamill’s Lavabear returns to San Diego for a very special release! Check out this vibrant San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive Glow in the Dark Edition Lavabear vinyl figure. Produced by 3DRetro, this awesome figure stands 8” tall and is limited to just 75 pieces. Collectors can purchase it at the 3DRetro SDCC booth #5045, when Nathan Hamill will be on hand Saturday, July 10th, for a very special signing from 2:30-4pm.

Nathan Hamill's ‎Lavabear‬ was once a shapeless, colorless being created from stardust by The Those. Over time, he rose into a vibrant, ursine-esque creature. His sole purpose was to guard the entrance to the Sacred Realms of Märchen and, along with it, its memories, treasures, and secrets. The legend goes that if awoken from his deep hibernation, those foolhardy enough to trespass on his Sacred Grounds will be met with a terrible and ancient wrath. His paws, it was said, shall lower, igniting the Eyes of Ulyssia and, with it, one thousand cursed flames. Once alive, Lavabear will seek down the intruders and bury their bones in his fiery belly …returning him once again to his deep, sound slumber.

Mammalia Edition Lavabear Vinyl Figure by Nathan Hamill

After debuting at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, Nathan Hamill’s Lavabear returns this weekend in an all new colorway. To celebrate the release of the Mammalia Edition Lavabear, Nathan and 3DRetro are throwing the figure a huge release party (RSVP here)! This party is going to have it all, food trucks, special “lava” floats (aka drinks) and other goodies, including your first opportunity to get the original version of the 8” Lavabear vinyl figure.

The Mammalia Edition Lavabear is limited to just 150 pieces and can be purchased beginning 7pm PDT on Saturday, October 4th, at the brand new 3DRetro retail store located at 1851 Victory Blvd, Glendale, California 91201. Lavabear T-Shirts by Nathan Hamill & Outsmart Originals

Nathan Hamill has teamed up with Outsmart Originals to produce two awesome new t-shirts based on his recent red hot designer vinyl figure, Lavabear! First up is the “Lavabear Rising” design, which features the character’s original design in vibrant and sharp, eye-popping color. The second tee is the “Lavabear Artist Edition”, which features Nathan’s original hand-drawn design of Lavabera. It’s a mix between minimalism and abstract styles that really looks fantastic on a shirt. Plus it’s a great representation of Hamill’s unique art style.

Both of Nathan Hamill’s Lavabear t-shirts are currently available for pre-order ladies (S-L) and mens (S-5XL) styles at the Outsmart Originals online store for just $25. These will be made to order and are expected to ship early October so get your orders in ASAP!

Nathan Hamill will be debuting Lavabear, his newest vinyl figure, later this month at San Diego Comic-Con 2014! The Lavabear was once a shapeless, colorless being created from stardust by The Those. Over time, he rose into a vibrant, ursine-esque creature whose sole purpose was to guard the entrance to the Sacred Realms of Märchen and, along with it, its memories, treasures, and secrets. The legend goes that if awoken from his deep hibernation, those foolhardy enough to trespass on his Sacred Grounds will be met with a terrible and ancient wrath.

For its first release, the Lavabear will sport this “Classic” colorway, which pays tribute to Disney’s Mickey Mouse. Pretty awesome, right? I love the mixture of Hamill’s signature art style with the color scheme of Mickey.
