SDCC 15 Exclusive Puppet Master #1 Variant Cover by Dan Mumford x Grey Matter Art x Action Lab

The surprise hit of Action Lab’s new Danger Zone comic book line has been Charles Band’s Puppet Master! Based on the cult classic series of B-movies from the ‘80s and ’90s, Puppet Master #1 was re-released at Comic-Con with a SDCC 2015 exclusive variant cover designed by Dan Mumford. The design was originally created as a limited edition screen print for Grey Matter Art (seen here), but it also works perfectly as a limited edition comic book cover as well!

The Blot has no idea how I missed the release of this awesome San Diego Comic-Con 2015 exclusive. Limited to just 250 pieces, Action Lab originally released this Comic-Con exclusive at their SDCC booth last week. But the rumor is Grey Matter Art will have a very limited amount available for sale soon via their online store. So keep your eyes peeled!!!

SDCC 15 Exclusive X-Men: Apocalypse Concept Art Teaser Movie Poster

Last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, FOX gave attendees a very special first look at their upcoming X-Men film, X-Men: Apocalypse! This ‘80s era film’s main antagonist will be the evil Apocalypse (portrayed by Oscar Isaac), who looked fantastic in the leaked footage The Blot saw yesterday. Until the teaser trailer is officially released, this San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive X-Men: Apocalypse Teaser Movie Poster featuring concept artwork from the film is our best look at Isaac’s version of the classic Marvel bad guy. This was evidently given away by FOX to fans at SDCC 2015.

SDCC 15 Exclusive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Teaser Movie Poster

Last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Warner Bros and DC Comics gave away this awesome Comic-Con exclusive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser movie poster featuring the shadowy profiles of Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman. What’s really cool about this free poster is that it coincided with a very special signing of the entire film’s cast at the DC Comics booth. So there are a number of these teaser movie posters floating around that were signed by the likes of Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, and Gal Gadot. How cool is that!?!

SDCC 15 Exclusive Fantastic Four Movie Poster by Bryan Hitch

Last week at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 it was announced that superstar comic book artist Bryan Hitch, who worked as a designer on FOX’s upcoming Fantastic Four movie, had designed a really cool movie poster for the film! The Blot loves that a major movie studio has finally released a comic book inspired one sheet poster for one of their live action films. It’s such a simple idea that no one takes advantage of. I guess it’s because most of the time the movie studios are trying to distance themselves from the actual films? Hitch tweeted that he’s also illustrated a matching Dr. Doom FF movie poster that hasn’t been released yet. The Blot can’t wait to see that one!

SDCC 15 Exclusive “Black Death” Karoshi San Vinyl Figure by Andrew Bell

Meet Karoshi San, Andrew Bell’s newest vinyl figure, which debuted this past week at San Diego Comic-Con 2015! The Comic-Con Exclusive “Black Death” Karoshi San colorway features Bell’s signature “Black on Black” color scheme and includes an awesome suitcase accessory that actually opens. The Blot really loves this little dead business man with his skeleton frame rocking a sweet dress shirt with tie and bowler hat. Fans can pick one up today at the Dumbrella SDCC booth #1335/1337 for $65. Rumor has it this bad boy will be making appearances with Bell at future conventions as well.

SDCC 15 Exclusive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice T-Shirt Collection by Junk Food Clothing x DC Comics

Junk Food Clothing and DC Comics have teamed up to launch a limited edition San Diego Comic-Con 2015 exclusive t-shirt collection based on the upcoming feature film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! Each day of Comic-Con Junk Food has released a new Dawn of Justice inspired t-shirt design. All four shirts have now been released and are available for purchase at the Junk Food Clothing online store, but only from now until July 17th! Each Batman v Superman t-shirt retails for $32 and is available in sizes S-2XL.

SDCC Fundays 2015 Exclusive The Avengers Retro Freddy Funko Vinyl Figures

Every year on the Friday night of San Diego Comic-Con, Funko holds its annual Fundays event where they give away to their fans “Box of Fun” full of protos and super rare Freddy Funko items. On top of that, they also give away to randomly selected fans super limited Freddy Funko items. This year that included this epic series of The Avengers Retro Freddy Funko vinyl figures! Each Retro Freddy was dressed up as a different member of Marvel's The Avengers, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk. Pretty awesome right!?! The Blot is dying to get his hands one on of these!

On Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Mondo released this eerie Aliens movie poster by Kilian Eng! The design also doubles as the cover artwork for the newly released Aliens Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on vinyl. The San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive Aliens Screen Print by Eng measures 24”x36” and is limited to just 300 pieces.

The Aliens Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Vinyl Record was composed and conducted by James Horner and pressed on 180 Gram Queen (blue and black swirl) vs. Power Loader (yellow with black stripe) colored vinyl. Both releases are available only at Mondo’s SDCC booth.

During San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Preview Night last Wednesday, Mondo released this super detailed Jaws Movie Poster by Nicolas Delort. It’s Jaws’ 40th Anniversary and the film is more popular than ever right now. In the past few months we’ve seen the release of Jaws toys, records and now an insane screen print by Nicolas Delort. The Blot seriously can’t get over all of the line work Delort put into this design.

Yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Mondo released this exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Poster by Jock for the original TMNT 1990 live action film. Awesome, right!?! I love all the Foot Clan members in the background about the attack the turtles. This is definitely one of my favorite print releases of SDCC!

SDCC 15 First Look: Madballs Series 1 Balls by Mondo

Thanks to Ayleen Gaspar's Instagram page, we have this awesome photo from San Diego Comic-Con 2015 of Mondo’s upcoming line of Madballs! The popular ‘80s toy line of gross monster balls returns after 30 years and still looks as fabulous as they did when I was a kid. No word when Madballs Series 1 is coming, but it will mimic the same line up of the original Madballs Series 1, including Skull Face, Horn Head and Slobulus. The Blot can’t wait for these to drop!!!

SDCC 15 First Look: Ramona Flowers Scott Pilgrim Vinyl Figure by Mondo

Back in 2011, Mezco Toyz released a really cool Scott Pilgrim 6” action figure. Ever since then fans have been clamoring for a matching Ramona Flowers toy. That figure never came, but I know Scott Pilgrim fans everywhere will be excited to learn that SP creator Bryan Lee O’Malley is teaming up with Mondo and Oni Press to release this big Ramona vinyl figure!!! Not much is known about the release yet, but it is on display now at Mondo’s San Diego Comic-Con 2015 booth. Thanks to Bryan for posting these photos on his Twitter page and Instagram page!

Since we blogged about the killer San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive Sketracha Be@rbrick 100% and 400% Double Pack by Bait x Medicom x Huy Fong Foods x Sket One (seen here), we’ve received Bait’s official press release about the figure that includes a ton of new information and pictures! This officially licensed collaboration pays homage to the Huy Fong Sriracha Chili sauce, born in 1980 by founder David Tran.

Bait and Sket One have come together to design a Be@rbrick that captures the popular “rooster” hot sauce by recreating the famous sriracha bottle, with its natural red chili sauce color throughout and iconic green “cap” on the right ear. With founder David Tran being born in the year of the rooster in line with the Chinese zodiac calendar, the Sketracha Be@rbrick would not have been complete without the prominent rooster logo front and center.

SDCC 15 First Look: “I Think I’m Losing My Mind” Veil: Specimen Vinyl Figure by Jermaine Rogers

Every year it seems like Jermaine Rogers is teasing an upcoming toy release by showcasing a new vinyl figure sculpt at his San Diego Comic-Con booth. This year is no different with the unveiling of the “I Think I’m Losing My Mind” Veil: Specimen 672 figure!!! The Blot honestly squealed like a little girl when photos from JR’s SDCC 2015 booth hit the internet last night.
