This release includes a vinyl record picture disc, a mixtape comic and a poster. The 12” picture disc features two new recordings by Gerard, which were written to go with his new comic book series Cave Carson Has A Cybernetic Eye from DC Comics’ Young Animal imprint.

The Record Store Day 2017 Exclusive Young Animal Mixtape “Into The Cave We Wander” Vinyl Picture Disc was designed by Paul Rentler using Michael Avon Oeming's art from the new Cave Carson series as well as older Cave Carson artwork. Earlier this month Secret Panel released a new crop of officially licensed comic book posters, including this epic Madman screen print by the character’s creator Mike Allred!!! Allred is one of The Blot’s all-time favorite artists, and I’ve been reading independently produced Madman comic book series most of my life. So you know I was super excited to learn Secret Panel had teamed up with Allred to release this trippy new Madman print. I seriously love everything about this release and you should too! Couldn’t you just stare at Allred’s pop art infused comic book artwork all day?

iZombie Final Television Poster - Series Premiere Tonight!

Tonight DC Comics’ fifth live action TV show of 2015, iZombie, will premiere on The CW! Based on the 2010 Vertigo comic book series by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred, iZombie centers on Olivia “Liv” Moore a medical resident whose life is forever changed when she is reborn a zombie. While The Blot never read the comic book series, I’m still really excited to see what Rob Thomas does with this property. Here’s hoping for many more DC Comics television shows in the coming years!

In just a few short weeks DC Comics’ fifth live action television series of 2015 will premiere (and third on The CW), iZombie! Loosely based on the 2010 Vertigo comic book series by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred, iZombie centers on Olivia “Liv” Moore a medical resident whose live gets flipped upside down when she becomes a zombie. She takes a job at coroner’s office to gain access to brains which she must eat to continue living. A side effect of becoming a zombie is she gains the memories of the people whose brains she consumes, which leads to a career of solving mysteries. If it sounds like a horror version of Veronica Mars, you’d be right! The shows share the same creator, Rob Thomas.

Ant-Man Marvel Vinylmation Eachez Vinyl Figures by Disney

Today, December 26th, Disney will be releasing this awesome Ant-Man Marvel Vinylmation Eachez blind box figure! What a perfect way to get excited for Marvel’s upcoming live action Ant-Man film. An Eachez release is when Disney releases just one single design blind box style with a very rare chase variant randomly inserted. The standard design in the classic Ant-Man uniform worn by Hank Pym, while the chase figure is Ant-Man’s updated look from the 2012 Marvel comic book series FF and worn by Scott Lang. The redesigned uniform is based on the art of superstar artist Mike Allred.

The Ant-Man Marvel Vinylmation vinyl figure stands 3” tall, is limited to 2,500 pieces, and will retail for $16.95 per blind box. The original Hank Pym Ant-Man has a ratio of 9/10, while the Scott Lang FF Ant-Man has a ratio of 1/10. Here’s hoping these pop up for sale today at the Disney online store and are not only available at Disney World and Disneyland.
