Chewbacca Star Wars Vintage Sofubi Vinyl Figure by Medicom
Medicom announced the sixth figure in its popular line of Star Wars Vintage Sofubi vinyl figures, and it’s everyone’s favorite Wookiee and co-pilot of the Millennium Falcon, Chewbacca! The Blot’s been loving this line so far, but man does this figure look terrible. By increasing the platform’s height and adding waste articulation made the vinyl figure looks really un-proportional. And I hate how Chewie’s leg joints look.
Scuplted by Frenzy, the Chewbacca Star Wars Vintage Sofubi figure is cast in soft Japanese vinyl, stands 10” tall, and feature 5 points of articulation. This vinyl figure is scheduled to go on sale in February 2015 and will retail for around $80-100 each. Unfortunately, this awesome limited edition collectible is only available in Japan.

Star Wars Vintage Sofubi Collection by Medicom - Darth Vader & Boba Fett
Medicom has recently launched a killer new line of Star Wars vinyl figures cast in soft Japanese vinyl figures, and The Blot is all kinds of excited! The Star Wars Vintage Sofubi line reimagines characters from the Star Wars universe as classic Japanese vinyl figures. The figures stand between 9-10”, feature 5 points of articulation and look epic! The first two figures in this new toy line are Darth Vader (who includes a vinyl cape and lightsaber) and Boba Fett (who includes his signature blaster). Both retail for around $100 and are sold by Medicom exclusively in Japan. Hopefully these make their way stateside somehow because I know tons of US based Star Wars collectors will want to get their hands on these!
