X-Men: Days of Future Past Character Movie Posters

X-Men: Days of Future Past, the movie The Blot’s been waiting for all year, finally hits theaters today! I won’t get to see it until Monday, but from all reports this Marvel movie is going be amazing. I just wish X-Men: DOFP featured more of the cast of First Class. Thankfully they’ve brought in a ton of established X-Men characters for the “future” scenes like Bishop, Blink, Sunspot and Warpath! As if you’re not excited enough already, check out this action packed X-Men: Days of Future Past character movie posters, and go see X-Men: DOFP this Memorial Day holiday weekend.

X-Men: Days of Future Past Marvel Movie Minimates

Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum continue their popular line of Marvel Movie Minimates with a new wave of X-Men: Days of Future Past specific mini figures! Dropping in October but available now for pre-order just as X-Men: DOFP hits theaters, Marvel Minimates Series 58 includes four 2 packs: Future Professor X with Past Magneto, Future Magneto with Past Mystique, Future Wolverine with Future Storm, and Past Logan with Past Charles Xavier. It’s just too bad the Future Rogue Minimate below never made it to production! I guess it got cut when Anna Paquin got cut from the film. It would have made an excellent variant.

Each X-Men: Days of Future Past Marvel Movie Minimates Set includes two 2” mini figures featuring 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable parts and accessories. If like The Blot you’re a huge fan of comic book movies then you’re in for a treat these next few months! I still can’t believe the films that are coming out beginning this weekend with Captain America: The Winter Solider, then Amazing Spider-Man 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Guardians of the Galaxy and Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For. It’s going to be an incredible summer to say the least! X-Men: DOFP looks pretty sick, and I love how the film is bringing together the cast of the original X-Men trilogy with the cast of First Class. It’s an X-Men fan’s dream come true! And how awesome is this latest theatrical one sheet teaser movie poster and the second official trailer!?! I can’t wait to see this movie!

X-Men: Days of Future Past “X Split” Character Teaser Movie Posters - Professor X & Magneto

X-Men: Days of Future Past may be the most ambitious X-Men movie yet! With one of the largest casts of any superhero film ever produced combined with a legendary comic book story line it is sure to be a massive hit. But even The Blot isn’t sure the movie can live up to how awesome these “Split” character teaser movie posters are! These beautiful posters feature the past and future versions of two of the film franchise’s three main characters, Professor X and Magneto.

The first print juxtaposes Patrick Stewart, the modern day Professor X, with his younger self, portrayed by James McAvoy. The second poster does the same with Magneto, combining the faces of present day Magnet portrayed by Ian McKellen and with Michael Fassbender’s ‘60s era Magneto. Are these posters awesome or what!??!

SDCC 2013 X-Men: Days of Future Past Propaganda Posters

At San Diego Comic-Con 2013 FOX debuted these amazing X-Men: Days of Future Past propaganda posters. Released in conjunction with the unveiling of the film’s Sentinels, these propaganda posters would make some seriously awesome X-Men screen prints! I love how they evoke the feeling of old military themed posters while still clearly being X-Men related. Marvel needs to make sure these posters get produced!

The Blot loves that not only is FOX’s live action film franchise tackling the iconic "Days of Future Past" storyline, but that they’re also finally bringing Marvel’s Sentinels to life. Even more amazing is this film is bringing both the cast of the original X-Men trilogy together with the cast of X-Men: First Class. Here’s hoping First Class’ cast doesn’t get the short end of the stick with so many “big names” being brought back to the X-Men fold.

SDCC 13 First Look: X-Men: Days of Future Past Portraits + Bishop & The Sentinels!

Every studio with a “sure fire” summer blockbuster in the works waits until San Diego Comic-Con to make their big announcements. So it should come as no surprise that FOX would unveil these awesome X-Men: Days of Future Past portraits, which includes our very first look at Omar Sy as Bishop!!! It’s been long rumored that Sy would portray the time traveling mutant, but now it’s been officially confirmed. And boy does Sy look spot on! The red sash, the awesome dreads and of course the dreaded M brand across his right eye.

FOX also unveiled five other character portraits including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and Daniel Cudmore as Colossus from the original X-Men trilogy and Nicholas Hoult as Beast, and Lucas Till as Havok from X-Men: First Class. They also had an awesome display of an actual Sentinel head from the film. I wondered how accurate the film’s Sentinels would be to the source material and from this head it looks pretty spot on! Can’t wait to find out more about the product of X-Men: Days of Future Past and its continuously growing cast.
