This is the first variant ZST has released from their popular WWE Hasbro inspired Wrestling’s Heels and Faces Series 1. What makes this a variant is that it features pink pants with a soft goods sash with a hand tied knot around his waist.  This officially licensed convention exclusive variant stands 4.5” tall and features brand new card artwork by Rich Davies.

That’s because Zombie Sailor Toys is releasing their San Diego Comic-Con 2021 Exclusive Jeff Jarrett Wrestling’s Heels and Faces Action Figure tomorrow (in an effort not to get lost in the SDCC shuffle). Inspired by the iconic WWF Hasbro 4” action figure toy line of the early ‘90s, Wrestling’s Heels and Faces revisits that beloved style of figures – with a modern update – and will feature professional wrestlers from the ‘80s, ‘90s and today.  But what makes this Jeff Jarrett figure extra special is that it is 100% based on the original drawing for the unproduced “Orange Card” Jeff Jarrett WWE Hasbro figure.

The “Orange Card” wave (which references the boarder color of the Hasbro blister card packaging) of WWE Hasbro figures was the next set of figures to be released in this iconic toy line, but Hasbro lost the WWE license while these figures were in pre-production and the wave was ultimately canceled. Now the legendary “what could have been” Orange Card Double J is being made exactly as the original Hasbro toy designer, Ron Rudat, intended and ZST is even using the exact same colors from the Jeff Jarrett reference photos that Rudat based his drawing on! How amazing is this story!?! This just doesn’t happen in the world of action figures.

The Blot is beyond excited for the release of Zombie Sailor Toys’ new action figure line, Wrestling’s Heels and Faces! Inspired by the iconic WWF Hasbro 4” action figure toy line of the early ‘90s, Wrestling’s Heels and Faces revisits that beloved style of figures – with a modern update – and will feature professional wrestlers from the ‘80s, ‘90s and today! What’s really neat about this toy line is all five figures were designed by Ron Rudat, the original WWF Hasbro figure designer, which really brings things full circle.

The Wrestling’s Heels and Faces toy line is a labor of love by ZST, who is a huge collector of WWF Hasbro figures and always hated how many legendary wrestlers from that time period were not included in the WWF Hasbro line or may never have gotten an action figure at all. Wrestling’s Heels and Faces changes all that! Plus, each figure is officially licensed and the wrestlers (or their estate) will be paid a percentage of every figure sold.

Wrestling’s Heels and Faces Series 1 will include professional wrestling legends Dino Bravo, Sabu and referee Earl Hebner, along with current stars and hosts of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, Matt Cardona and Brian Myers. What’s amazing about this wave of figures is that it will be Dino Bravo’s first wrestling figure ever and the first ever referee in this style of wrestling figure!
