Betty Boop Giclee Prints by Naja Conrad-Hansen

Dark Hall Mansion has teamed up with King Features Syndicate and Fleischer Studios to release two new giclee prints of one of their most beloved cartoon characters, Betty Boop, by the extraordinarily gifted Naja Conrad-Hansen! Conrad-Hansen's two striking images of the doe-eyed beauty truly embody her sass and charm that the world was first introduced way back in 1930.

For this release, Naja has created two very different Betty Boop pieces: the first is a special treat that has Betty, friend Bimbo, and her little puppy Pudgy all dolled up for Valentine's Day; the second, a very limited edition that is pure '70s and all Betty attitude! In this latter piece, Dark Hall Mansion asked Naja to bring her high-fashion sensibilities to bear in rendering the timeless Betty with a distinctively 70's flair.

Betty Boop by Naja Conrad-Hansen is an 18”x24” hand numbered giclee print. The Standard Edition “Betty Boop-Love” has a limited edition run size of 280 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant Edition “Betty Boop NY” is limited to 50 pieces and will retail for $100. DHM is also producing 10 Canvas Edition Variants of each version, which will retail for $175. All four versions go on sale at 9:30am PST this Friday, February 5th, at the Dark Hall Mansion online store.

Scaredy Labbit Vinyl Figure by Amanda Visell x Kidrobot

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost seven years since Kidrobot released Amanda Visell’s first production Labbit, the San Diego Comic-Con 2009 Exclusive Wood Labbit. That’s still one of The Blot’s all-time favorite KR releases. Thankfully Kidrobot is back in the Amanda Visell business, and is set to release this beautiful Scaredy Labbit 10” vinyl figure! I just love how all of Amanda’s production pieces look like they were hand painted in her unique style. Kidrobot always a tremendous job recreating her color palette.

What’s really surprising about the Scaredy Labbit’s release is that even though it’s already available for pre-order in online stores everywhere, Kidrobot still hasn’t announced its impending release. I’m not quite sure what they’re waiting on as it’s supposed to hit stores sometime this month (Feb 2016). Collectors can pre-order this 10” vinyl figure at finer designer toy stores everywhere for $74.99.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Artist Mix Figures Series includes Batman and Superman. Each Artist Mix Figure has a bobble-head and stands approximately 5” tall. WWE Crow Sting & Vader Sofubi Vinyl Figures by Medicom

Medicom has unveiled its sixth wave of WWE Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figures and this release includes two legendary WCW wrestlers, Sting and Vader! This is Sting’s second figure in the series and features his Crow-like look from the Monday Night Wars when The Icon battled against the evil forces of the nWo. Big Van Vader held successful stints in NJPW, WCW and WWE, and was known for his high flying moves and deadly Vader Bomb. Although Vigilante Sting does not include his signature bat, the evil Vader does come with his signature mastodon mask (which looks amazing in the picture below).

Each WWE Sting and Vader Sofubi Vinyl Figure by Medicom stands approximately 9.5” tall, is cast in soft Japanese vinyl with 3 points of articulation, and is sold individually for around $125.

Kermit the Frog Walt Disney Grand Jester Mini Bust

From a backwater swamp to the bright lights of Broadway, Kermit the Frog has worn many hats in his illustrious career: actor, musician, stage manager, and even movie star. An island of sanity in a maelstrom of Muppet inspired madness, Kermit gamely endures all the hilarity and hijinks foisted upon him by his felt-covered friends. But even a frog has his breaking point, and nothing soothes the nerves more than a simple song strummed on a well-worn banjo.

To celebrate the iconic leader of The Muppets, Grand Jester Studios is releasing this beautiful Kermit the Frog Mini Bust as part of its much beloved Walt Disney Showcase Collection! This 6.5” polystone mini-bust was designed and sculpted by Patrick Romandy-Simmons, and comes hand painted ready for display. Limited to just 3,000 pieces, you can pre-order one today from Entertainment Earth for $69.99 here.

Batman: The Animated Series Deluxe Batmobile 6” Scale Vehicle Box Set

DC Collectibles is re-releasing its popular Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile, but this time in a deluxe box set that includes Batman and Robin 6” action figures with cloth capes! Unlike the Batman: The Animated Series Batman and Robin figures previously released with molded plastic capes, these cloth capes will allow the Caped Crusaders to more easily sit in the Batmobile. The Batmobile itself is loaded with extras, including light-up headlights, brakes and engine, as well as independently moving wheels. This Batman: TAS Deluxe Batmobile box set also includes an in-scale Batsignal! The Blot can’t believe how much DC Comics has included in this one deluxe set.

The Batman: The Animated Series Deluxe Batmobile is 24” long, while the Batsignal measures 6.5” tall x 5.425” wide x 5.125” deep. Although this massive set is not scheduled to hit store shelves until August 2016, you can pre-order it now at Entertainment Earth for just $139.99 here.
