The Blot was catching up on some emails (I’m chronically way behind) and realized I never posted about this amazing The Muppets Movie screen print by artist Tom Whalen and CODA! Cookiezilla has laid dormant for just under a year, and in the creature’s absence, a new adversary rises! Today, Bottleneck Gallery continues to honor the legacy of artist and brilliant sculptor Gabriel Marquez with the newest entry in the Cookiezillaverse – Elmo Kong! BNG will be donating 10% of all profits made from the sale of this figure to the Pediatric Tumor Foundation.

As BNG explained, “Gabriel’s original character and statue, Cookiezilla, is a truly special project for us. Gabriel’s unfortunate passing in 2021 was a devastating loss in so many ways, and we hope continuing to build upon the Cookiezillaverse alongside his family and artists and sculptors we trust helps Gabriel’s artistic spirit live on. Working off of a concept by Doug Nagle, we’ve brought Cookiezilla’s most fierce (so far!) adversary to life as an incredibly detailed resin statue.
