Dune Movie Poster Print by Bella Grace x Vice Press

Today, Vice Press is releasing a new movie poster for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune by artist Bell Grace. As Vice Press explained, “Bella has captured the etherial presence of Zendaya as Chani over Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and the planet Arrakis. There is something in Bella’s style and the way that she has illustrated this piece that we felt lent itself to a foil print.”

Dune by Bella Grace is a 24”x36” hand numbered offset lithograph Print.  The Foil Edition on 270gm Mirri Silver Paper is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for £49.99.  There is also an Editions Variant Fine Art Pigment Print that is A2 size (16.5”x23.4”) and printed On Mohawk 270gsm Ultrawhite Paper. LOKI Screen Print by Anne Benjamin x Mondo x Marvel Studios

If you follow The Blot on social media, then you know I’m pretty distraught over what Funko has done to Mondo over the past few weeks.  First they let go of half of the staff, including the three primary creative directors of the company (including two company founders) and much of the staff supporting Mondo’s print division.  Then their CEO released a super tone-deaf press release trying to spin how they've basically killed what Mondo was to justify the cuts, which appears to have been caused by Funko's overall poor quarterly report. For all intents and purposes, the Mondo we all knew and loved is dead. RIP!

That being said, there are still a few prints that were so far along in their process that art is still coming out. Like this fun new Marvel Studios poster for LOKI by artist Anne Benjamin. Originally designed as a poster, the artwork was first released as the cover artwork to Mondo’s LOKI: original Soundtrack Season One 3xLP they previously released. There are three Variants to this new MCU poster, so watch out for the TVA!

LOKI by Anne Benjamin is a 36”x24” hand numbered screen print.  The Regular Edition is limited to 215 pieces and will retail for $60, the Lamentis Variant is limited to 140 pieces and will retail for $85, and the TVA Variant is limited to 140 pieces and will retail for $85. Cookiezilla has laid dormant for just under a year, and in the creature’s absence, a new adversary rises! Today, Bottleneck Gallery continues to honor the legacy of artist and brilliant sculptor Gabriel Marquez with the newest entry in the Cookiezillaverse – Elmo Kong! BNG will be donating 10% of all profits made from the sale of this figure to the Pediatric Tumor Foundation.

As BNG explained, “Gabriel’s original character and statue, Cookiezilla, is a truly special project for us. Gabriel’s unfortunate passing in 2021 was a devastating loss in so many ways, and we hope continuing to build upon the Cookiezillaverse alongside his family and artists and sculptors we trust helps Gabriel’s artistic spirit live on. Working off of a concept by Doug Nagle, we’ve brought Cookiezilla’s most fierce (so far!) adversary to life as an incredibly detailed resin statue. Elmo Kong is both oddly cuddly and fearsome, making Doug’s unique addition to the Cookiezillaverse a perfect fit!”
