Pearl Jam Gigaton Screen Print by Krzysztof Domaradzki

As a diehard Pearl Jam fan, The Blot was really excited to learn the band had teamed up with artists Krzysztof Domaradzki, Ames Bros, and Ken Taylor to create fine art prints inspired by PJ’s first new album in seven years, Gigaton! These prints were originally to be released at a New York City pop-up shop the day of the album’s release, but those plans were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I guess New York’s loss is our gain as all three artists will be releasing their Pearl Jam Gigaton art prints online instead today, Monday, April 20th.

As Domaradzki explained, “My interpretation of the Pearl Jam Gigaton album is all about letters resembling blocks of ice... the middle negative space creates an illusion of icebergs that are melting.” The Krzysztof Domaradzki Pearl Jam Gigaton art print is a large format 30”x30” signed and numbered 7 color screen print on 100% cotton archival paper with hand deckled edges. This screen print is limited to 200 pieces and comes hand numbered. Domaradzki’s copies will be the odd numbers and will come signed, while the Pearl Jam fan club, Ten Club, will be selling the even numbers at a later date and those will be unsigned. Batman: The Animated Series Screen Prints Release #1 by Phantom City Creative x Mondo

Today Mondo returns to Gotham City with a celebration of all things Batman: The Animated Series! Kicking things off are a couple of brand new posters by Phantom City Creative for the BTAS episodes “Dreams in Darkness” and “Harley's Holiday”. Full disclosure: Mondo originally planned on having their second BTAS x PCC gallery show in May, but given the state of things, they have instead decided to pivot and release the posters created for that show in a series of online drops over the coming months.

As Mondo explained, “Nobody has a grip on this iconic series quite like Phantom City. Six years, dozens of posters, a gallery show, and a vinyl box set later... this still remains one of our favorite artist/property pairings ever.
