This past weekend Spoke Art Gallery hosted “In Dreams!: An Art Show Tribute to David Lynch.” This amazing group art show included over 50 international artists’ paintings, sculptures and limited edition prints all paying homage to the legendary film director. Each of the exhibited works evokes the emotional complexities and stylistic ventures of Lynch’s work. While The Blot really enjoys Lynch’s movies, his cult classic television series Twin Peaks is one of my all time favorite shows. So of course I’m extremely excited to see all of the Twin Peaks inspired pieces exhibited in this show. All remaining pieces from this riveting group art show go on sale today, Monday, March 10th, at the Spoke Art Gallery online store.

From the desolate and disturbing darkness of Eraserhead (1977) to the unspoken evils of a small town in TV series Twin Peaks (1990), In Dreams presents a closer look into the unsettling, yet hypnotizing realm of Lynch’s cinematic repertoire.
