For the second year in a row, Mattel and Hot Wheels are releasing a hilariously epic San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Marvel vehicle ripped straight from a Marvel comic book. After last year’s Spider-Man Spider-Mobile comes the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Thanos Helicopter Hot Wheels. It’s hard to believe the Mad Titan, who went on to become the most powerful being in the Marvel universe, at one point needed a helicopter to get around. But that’s exactly what happened in the Spidey Super Stories issue #39 comic book from 1979!
Packaged inside of its very own Cosmic Cube, Hot Wheels pays tribute to that bonkers story from the ‘70s by recreating one of the most talked about and unlikely vehicles in the world of comic books, the Thanos Copter! It even has his freaking name on it! Piloted by Thanos, this finely detailed die-cast helicopter has a real spinning main rotor, twin landing skids, and looks ready to take flight at any time and wreak havoc throughout the Marvel Universe.
I don’t know about you, but this amazing San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Thanos Helicopter Hot Wheels has just shot to the top of The Blot’s must get list for SDCC 2018!
