Superplastic’s acclaimed Janky Kickstarter campaign may be over, but that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped creating! In fact, Superplastic has just launched their official online store and did it with the debut of a brand new vinyl figure. Check out the vibrant life-size Punk Skull vinyl figure by Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel. What’s really awesome about this release is that it’s Okuda’s first designer art figure!
The Punk Skull features a multi-faceted main skull body with multicolored teeth and spiked mohawk. If the images seen here don’t feel quite real, it's because the facets on the skull body hide shadows and create an unearthly effect. According to the Superplastic website, this is one of Superplastic and Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz’ favorite toys, ever, created by one his most beloved artists.
The Punk Skull by Okuda stands 12” tall and is limited to just 999 pieces. Collectors can pre-order one now at the Superplastic online store for $160.
