The Blot was excited to learn that Munky King would be releasing four new colorways of Luke Chueh’s adorable Ghostbear vinyl figure exclusively at Designer Con 2019! Based on a character created for a four panel web comic by Luke Chueh, Ghostbear explores themes of life, death, and lactose intolerance. “I wish I had more rationale for Ghostbear, but he's easy to draw and I'm kinda lazy.” Explained Luke.
For Designer Con 2019, Munky King will be releasing the translucent Invisible Ghostbear, the red glow in the dark double pour Asian Glow Ghostbear, the super glittery golden Fabulous Ghostbear, and a teal Unruly Ghostbear. Each soft vinyl figure stands 2.5” tall and will come bagged with a header card designed by Chueh. Collectors can purchase the Invisible and Asian Glow Ghostbear vinyl figures at the Munky King DCon booth for $30 each. The Fabulous Ghostbear can be purchased at Luke Chueh's DCon booth #822, and the Unruly Ghostbear can be purchased at the Unruly Industries DCon booth #2427.
