Today, Mondo and Nautilus Art Prints will be releasing a new movie poster for Francis Ford Coppola’s masterful 1984 musical/crime drama, The Cotton Club, featuring beautiful artwork by Laurent Durieux. Mondo will be selling the Regular Edition exclusively, while the Variant can be purchased exclusively at Nautilus Art Prints.
As Mondo explained, “A dive into the sound of jazz during the Prohibition period of the ‘20s and ‘30s, the film is a sprawling hybrid of musical and gangster drama that focuses on the lives of characters that intersect within Harlem’s famed Cotton Club. It stars Richard Gere, Gregory Hines, Diane Lane, Nicolas Cage, and Lonette McKee.”
The Cotton Club by Laurent Durieux is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 250 pieces and will go on sale at 11am CT today, Thursday, July 30th, at MondoShop.com via The Drop for $70.
The Cotton Club Variant is a 61cm x 91.44cm signed and numbered screen print limited to 134 pieces. The Variant goes on sale at 7pm Brussels time today, Thursday, July 30th, at Nautilus-ArtPrints.com for €85.
