Last month Gallery Nucleus and Cyclops Print Works presented “An Art Tribute to Disney Television Animation”, which celebrated Disney’s TV glory days known as the Disney Afternoon! Earlier this summer Disney released a follow up set to its 2011 Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers Disney Afternoon Vinylmation 2 pack. With this release collectors can finally complete the Rescue Rangers detective agency in Vinylmation form! The Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers Disney Afternoon Vinylmation 3 Pack includes pilot Gadget Hackwrench, Monterey Jack and his sidekick Zipper. Monty and Gadget are full size 3” Vinylmation figures, while Zipper is a 1.5” Jr. Vinylmation figure.

The third Disney Afternoon Vinylmation 2-pack will be released this Friday and boy is it a walk down memory lane! The Chip ‘N Dale Rescue Rangers Vinylmation Set includes the television show’s version of Chip and Dale in their trademark Hawaiian shirt and bomber jacket respectively. Chip ‘N Dale Rescue Rangers was must see TV for The Blot in the late 1980s, and I think it’s safe to say I’ve seen every episode of this Disney Afternoon cartoon. I wonder if we’ll ever seen Vinylmation figures of Monterey Jack, Gadget Hackwrench and Zipper?
