Five Points Fest 2019 Exclusive Creamsicle Danger Dogs Resin Figures by NEMO x Tenacious Toys x Dead Hand Toys

Next week at Five Points Festival 2019, Tenacious Toys will be releasing three different Creamsicle Danger Dog resin figures by artist NEMO. Has Tenacious Toys’ mascot Danger ever looked so delicious in these red, orange and purple colorways? Each pup stands 2.25” tall and was cast in resin and painted by Dead Hand Toys. Individually bagged with header cards, these three Creamsicle Danger Dog colorways are limited to just 10 pieces each. They can be purchased individually for $25 or as a three figure set for $60 at the TT FPF booth.

Five Points Fest 2018 Exclusive Bluenose Danger Bulldog Resin Figure by NEMO x Tenacious Toys

Tenacious Toys has teamed up with NEMO to release a Five Points Festival 2018 exclusive colorway of TT’s store mascot, Danger! The Five Points Fest exclusive Bluenose Danger Dog stands 2” and is limited to just 3 pieces. Based on an illustration by Playful Gorilla, Danger was sculpted and painted by Mike “NEMO” Mendez. Collectors can purchase one this weekend at the Tenacious Toys FPF booth #234 for $40. Blanks will also be available for $20 each.

Dead Hand Toys’ Gread is back with the Gread Evolved!

One of The Blot’s favorite resin figures is back! After a lengthy hiatus, we now know why Dead Hand Toys’ adorable little swamp monster, the Gread, has been in hiding… It’s because he’s evolved! The Gread Evolved is the same bog monster we all know and love, but he now features an entirely new body designed and sculpted by Rich Page of UME Toys. What do you think of the Gread now that he’s got two hands and feet to move around with!?!

Each Gread Evolved resin figure is hand cast and painted by Dead Hand Toys, and the two part figure is articulated at the neck with an embedded magnet. The first colorway of the Gread 2.0 goes on sale at 3pm EST today, Friday, March 2nd, at the Dead Hand Toys online store for $25.

Chinese New Year Edition Danger Bulldog Resin Figure by Tenacious Toys

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Tenacious Toys has released a limited edition Red Variant of their store mascot, Danger! As Tenacious Toys explained, “red is an auspicious color for the Chinese, so we had this little dude cast in red and bagged with a festive and totally on-brand header card fashioned after the lucky red envelopes handed out this time of year.”

Based on illustration by Playful Gorilla, Danger was sculpted by Mike “NEMO” Mendez and molded, cast, finished and painted by Brian Ahlbeck of Dead Hand Toys. The Chinese New Year Edition year of the Dog Danger Bulldog Red Variant Resin Figure stands 2.25” tall, is limited to just 20 pieces and retails for $25 at the Tenacious Toys online store.

Five Points Festival Debut Resin Is King Blind Box Series 4 by Tenacious Toys x Dead Hand Toys

Tenacious Toys and Dead Hand Toys’ fantastic Resin Is King blind box series returns this weekend at the Five Points Festival in New York City with a new line-up artists and figures!!! Resin Is King Series 4 will make its debut at the Tenacious Toys FPF booth #229 and includes the impressive work of 11 resin casting artists from the US and UK: Renone, TobyArt, UME Toys, Forces of Dorkness, Eyehart Toys, Pickman's Vinyls, Leecifer, One-Eyed Girl, Kyle Kirwan, Dollar Slice Bootlegs and Abe Lincoln Jr (with sculpting by NEMO and casting by Jacob JAMS).

Resin Is King Series 4 consists of 110 blind boxes, with each artist contributing 10 figures in one sculpt. Many variations of each figure will be available blind box style, including chase color variants, alternate colorways and many hand painted details. Golden Tickets will also be hidden randomly in various boxes, which will get the recipients free resin figures, discounts in online stores, and more.

Each Resin Is King blind box will retail for $30, and Tenacious Toys will have samples available for swapping at their Five Points Fest booth. Any remaining Resin Is King Series 4 blind boxes will go up for sale in the Tenacious Toys online store after the comic con.

Tenacious Toys Pitbull Mascot Danger Blue Edition Resin Figure

Tenacious Toys announced this week that it will be releasing a collectible resin figure of its awesome pitbull mascot, Danger! Based on the Tenacious Toys logo designed by Playful Gorilla, this awesome new figure made its debut in the Resin Is King Series 3 in various pitbull appropriate colors. Now for its first standalone colorway, Danger is being released in a Tenacious Toys blue color scheme based on Playful Gorilla’s original image.

Each Blue Edition Danger Resin Figure stands 2.25” tall and comes boxed with a 3” Tenacious sticker. Sculpted by NEMO and molded, cast, finished and painted by Brian Ahlbeck of Dead Hand Toys, Danger is an open run in this Tenacious Blue colorway but there are only 30 available currently. Collectors can pick one up now at the Tenacious Toys online store. for $25.

NYCC 16 Debut Resin Is King Blind Box Series 3 by Tenacious Toys

After way too many years, Tenacious Toys’ epic Resin Is King blind box series is back!!! This all-resin, all handmade series of art collectibles features pieces by 10 of the most talented artists working in resin today. This exciting new series will debut this weekend at the Tenacious Toys New York Comic Con booth #309 in The Block! Each of the 10 artists in the series has submitted 10 pieces to be placed into 100 total blind boxes.

The artist roster for the Resin Is King Series 3 includes Magitarius, Jacob JAMS, Angry Artist, Taylored Curiosities, Forces of Dorkness, UME Toys, The Jelly Empire, Argonaut Resins, Dead Hand Toys and Mike NEMO Mendez. Every blind box will include a 3” resin figure, a sticker and an insert card. A few boxes will also contain Golden Tickets good for discounts in the participating artists' shops, in the Tenacious Toys shop, and other free resin prizes.

Each Resin Is King blind box will be $30 and they will be available exclusively through Tenacious Toys. At NYCC there will be a few pre-opened figures on display which can be swapped with figures purchased at the booth - if you like one you see in their case better, Tenacious Toys will give you that one and stick the one you pulled into the case. Leftover blind boxes will be made available online in the week following NYCC.

Monstorrax Resin Figure by Dead Hand Toys

Meet Monstorrax, the newest crazy monsterous creation from our friends at Dead Hand Toys! To kick things off, Dead Hand Toys has produced two 1 of a kind hand painted Monstorrax figures, “Red” and “Gray”. Each figure stands roughly 2.5” tall and is hand cast in resin. Greadzee Resin Figures by Dead Hand Toys & Zukaty

After a much too long hiatus, Dead Hand Toys’ Gread is back! British artist Zukaty has gotten his hands on The Blot’s favorite swamp monster and mutated him into the all new Greadzee. Custom cast and painted by Zukaty, these Greadzee resin figure is limited to just 16 one of a kind colorways. Each figure comes signed by Zukaty and bagged with header card. NYCC 13 Exclusive Gread & Baby Gread Resin Figures by Dead Hand Toys

Dead Hand Toys brought the heat to New York Comic Con 2013 last weekend with over 200 Gread resin figures! The Blot’s never seen so many of the little swamp monsters in one picture. Not only were there beautiful metallic and fluorescent Greads, but Brian Ahlbeck also brought something a little different…Baby Greads!

Ok this isn’t the figure’s official name, but it’s an awesome super small Gread in scale with the popular OMFG and M.U.S.C.L.E. PVC mini figure lines. The Blot can’t wait to see one in person! No word yet if any of these killer NYCC 2013 Exclusive Gread and Mini Gread resin figures remain, but keep your eyes peeled to the Dead Hand Toys online store just in case.

NYCC 13 Exclusive Tri-Color Green Gread Resin Figure by Dead Hand Toys

Dead Hand Toys and SubUrban Vinyl have teamed up to release a very special New York Comic Con 2013 exclusive colorway of everyone’s favorite bog monster, the Gread. Each 2” resin figure features a pretty cool marbled effect of three different shades of green and turned out fantastic. Spanky Stokes Exclusive Tri-Color Black Gread Resin Figure by Dead Hand Toys

ToyCon UK Exclusive Gread Resin Figures by UME Toys & Dead Hand Toys

For ToyCon UK last weekend UME Toys teamed up with Dead Hand Toys to release a beautiful set of Gread resin figures! The Blot’s a huge fan the 2” bog monster, and I was really excited to see what Rich Page would do with the figure. Not only did he add eyelids to each Gread, but he also gave them a really cool weathered bronze paint job. They turned out sick if you ask me! 

The ToyCon UK Exclusive Gread Resin Figures by UME Toys has a limited edition run size of just 9 pieces and retails for £14. The remaining figures from last weekend’s show are currently available for purchase at the UME Toys online store. But act fast before these little guys are gone for good!

Sugar Skull Gread Resin Figures by Dead Hand Toys

Later today Dead Hand Toys will be releasing an extremely limited run of Sugar Skull Gread resin figures! This is only the second release of Brian Ahlbeck’s undead little bog monster (the first being last year’s Bone Gread). This is the most detailed paint job Brian’s ever done with any of his resin figures and boy did he knock this one out of the park! These Sugar Skull Greads turned out incredibly sick, and The Blot’s itching to get my hands on one.

Blind Bagged Marbled Gread Resin Figures by Dead Hand Toys

Everyone’s favorite little bog monster is back! It's been a while, but later today Dead Hand Toys will be releasing an all new series of Gread resin figure. Each one of a kind Gread is made from at least three different colored resins, the first time this has ever been done! Each figure is then finished with a black rub and a gloss clear coat, making for a really cool effect.

These Marbled Gread resin figures will be sold blind bagged for $20 each through the Dead Hand Toys online store today, Tuesday, February 12th, at 5pm EST.

Gread 2012 Holiday Ornaments by Dead Hand Toys

For the second consecutive year Dead Hand Toys is producing a pretty cool ornament for the holidays! The 2012 Christmas Ornament is Dead Hand Toys’ first figure, the Gread! Cast in resin and foam, these are super light weight and perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree or holiday bush (even more so than last year’s ornament). Each Gread Ornament comes painted in metallic colors and layered with glitter. But don't worry, there's at least three layers of clear on each Gread Ornament so the glitter shouldn't be going anywhere.

The 2012 Gread Christmas Ornament by Dead Hand Toys will be available in four metallic colorways: red, green, silver and gold. These go on sale at the Dead Hand Toys online store today, Friday, December 14th, at 5pm EST and will be available through Sunday, December 16th. Each ornament will retail for $15, but if you buy a set of all four they’re just $50 (that’s $10 off!).

Dead Hand Toys recently dropped its very first t-shirt and The Blot’s really digging it! Designed by Brian VDP, these Dead Hand Toys tees are printed with discharge inks on black Next Level fitted tees. It’s a very cool drippy design that fits perfectly with the aesthetic of Brian Ahlbeck’s toy company. This new t-shirt is currently available in sizes S-XL via the Dead Hand Toys online store for just $18.

Bone Gread Resin Figure by Dead Hand Toys

Dead Hand Toys secretly released a number of Halloween inspired colorways of its popular resin monsters earlier this week, including a Candy Corn Teuth and Bone Filled Funguhs. But of the 6 figures released, my favorite is this awesome Bone Great! The cute little bog monster is back in a new bone looking colorway perfect for the Halloween season. Hand cast and painted, the Bone Gread retails for just $15 and can be purchased at the Dead Hand Toys online store. This awesome figure will have a time release run, meaning there is no limit to how many can be ordered while it is up for sale in the DHT online store. NYCC 12 Exclusive Translucent Gread Resin Figures by Brian Ahlbeck

The Gread is back! Brian Ahlbeck’s (of Dead Hand Toys) popular little resin monster returns to New York Comic-Con in two awesome translucent colorways. Available exclusively at Tenacious Toys’ NYCC booth #3121, Ahlbeck has created a Tenacious Toys Translucent Blue Gread and a red, yellow and green Translucent Rainbow Gread for the east coast’s biggest comic-con.

Each version has a limited edition run size of just 10 pieces and will definitely go fast! Who doesn’t love these cute little swamp creatures!?! The Blot’s lucky enough to have a number Greads in my collection and these 2” wide mini figures are always impeccably made.
