Cometdebris ToyCon UK 2017 Exclusives!

Koji Harmon of Cometdebris is heading to ToyCon UK 2017 this weekend, and he’s bringing with him some killer sofubi exclusives! There are four different Cometdebris ToyCon UK 2017 exclusives dropping at the two day convention taking place at York Hall in London: Clear Orange Kappa Shonen (£40), Dark Pink Kappa Kid (£25), Green Ace Robo (£40) and Red and Glow Marbled Tofu Kid (£25). All four of these figures are cast in soft Japanese vinyl and can be purchased at Cometdebris’ ToyCon booth #T6.

ToyCon Exclusive Star Wars “Where The Wookiee Things Are” Boba Fett Resin Figures by WheresChappell

Let the wild rumpus start! This weekend at ToyCon UK 2017, WheresChappell will be releasing the first two colorways of his newest Star Wars inspired figure, Where The Wookiee Things Are! This amazing new resin figure is a killer mash-up of Boba Fett with the classic children’s book, Where The Wild Things Are. Each figure features Boba Fett frolicking around in a Wookiee fur costume just like Max in Where The Wild Things Are.

The Where The Wookiee Things Are Boba Fett Resin Figure will be available this weekend in two ToyCon exclusive colorways: Empire Strikes Back Edition and Jango Fett Edition. Each version will be limited to just 5 pieces, with any remaining figures (yeah, like that’s going to happen) going up at the Cracked Hatchet online store after the con. The four WTWTA colorways seen in the photo above (Prototype, ROTJ, Kenner and Holiday) will be released in the near future.

“Mono” Friendly Fire Resin Figure by Jason Freeny x Mighty Jaxx x Mintyfresh

Originally created for ToyCon UK 2016, Mintyfresh has released the fourth colorway of Jason Freeny’s awesome Friendly Fire resin figure as a retailer exclusive! Produced by Mighty Jaxx, the “Mono” Friendly Fire resin figure is a beautiful juxtaposition of two pop culture icons, Disney’s Mickey Mouse with Nintendo’s Bob-omb (from Super Mario Bros.).

The “Mono” Friendly Fire Resin Figure by Jason Freeny stands 9” tall, is limited to just 100 pieces, and can be purchased now exclusively at the Mintyfresh online store for €139.95.

ToyCon UK 2016 Exclusive The Skullhead Blank Resin Figure Colorways by Huck Gee

Huck Gee is heading to the UK this weekend for ToyCon 2016 and bringing with him some really awesome exclusives! The Blot is really loving these three beautiful new unpainted ToyCon 2016 exclusive Skullhead Blank colorways. The Pink and Orange Skullhead Blank resin figures will be limited to the actual ToyCon UK convention, while the Blue Edition will only be available at the official Toy Chronicle hosted ToyCon UK 2016 Aftershow Party. All three colorways stand 7” tall and features multiple points of articulation.

Popcon Asia Exclusive Black & Red GeekWok Star Wars Resin Figure by UME Toys

This weekend is Popcon Asia 2014, where this awesome Black and Red GeekWok Star Wars resin figure by UME Toys will be making its debut. This bad boy Ewok sports a satin black finish and bright red glasses. Standing a hairy 3” tall, this little chap is cast resin, hand painted, signed and numbered on the base. If you happened to be in Jakarta, Indonesia this weekend then stop by Toy Kulture’s Popcon Asia booth #AAH-2 to pick one up. Limited to just 10 pieces, only 5 will be available at Popcon while the other 5 went on sale last night at the UME Toys online store. Sadly those 5 sold out immediately.

The Hang Gang Exclusive Pocket Rose Vampire by Josh Herbolsheimer

How in the world was there a ToyCon UK Exclusive Pocket Rose Vampire released months ago and The Blot not know it!?! The internet has failed me! Sold exclusively by The Hang Gang, this adorable little critter was designed by Josh Herbolsheimer and produced by Super7.  It was cast in yellow and brown soft Japanese vinyl, with gold, brown and red sprays. While I need this figure, I’m a little scared of the international shipping to get from the UK. Wish me luck!

“Beeten but not Broken” Custom Deadbeet Vinyl Figures by JC Rivera

After debuting at ToyCon UK 2014, these awesome “Beeten but not Broken” Custom Deadbeet vinyl figures by JC Rivera are now available exclusively at Collect and Display! JC has a long history of amazing boxing themed customs, and he’s worked his magic once again with Scott Tolleson’s Deadbeet 7.5” vinyl figure. All the Bear Champ fans out there will definitely want to get their hands on these black and blue undead veggies.

The “Beeten but not Broken” hand painted custom Deadbeet by JC Rivera is limited to just 5 pieces and can be purchased at the Collect and Display online store for £90 each.

Black & Silver Swirl Leroy C. Vinyl Figure by Invisible Creature

The Blot has no idea how I missed the announcement of this beautiful Black and Silver Swirl Leroy C. vinyl figure by Invisible Creature! Originally released as a ToyCon UK Exclusive last weekend, this awesome Leroy C. colorway was slush cast with black and silver soft Japanese vinyl and features yellow and metallic silver sprays. I absolutely love how all these metallic silvers play against the black vinyl of Leroy C. Produced by Super7, this 4.25” vinyl figure is currently available for purchase at the Invisible Creature online store for $40 each.

“Black Edition” ZX TEAS Box Set of 7 Lunartik Mini-Teas by Matt JOnes

This weekend at ToyCon UK Matt JOnes will be releasing this sleek box set of “Black Edition” ZX TEAS, which includes 7 super infused Lunartik mini-teas. Each all black mini-tea stands 2.5” tall, features brightly colored eyes (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink or purple), and comes packaged in a super deluxe window box. Limited to just 300 sets, the “Black Edition” ZX Teas set will debut at ToyCon UK on April 12th at the Lunartik booth #20. Any remaining sets will then be made available at the Lunartik online tea shop on Monday, April 14th, for £45.

ToyCon UK Exclusive “Pinky” GeekWok Ewok Star Wars Resin Figure by UME Toys

The third colorway of UME Toys’ epic GeekWok Star Wars resin figure will be debuting at ToyCon UK later this month, and I know Ewok fans everywhere will be scrambling to add this one to their collection! The ToyCon UK Exclusive “Pinky” GeekWok features a pink hood and her signature geeky glasses. Thankfully those of us unable to attend ToyCon UK in London on April 12th, this will be a split release. That means while half of the “Pinky” GeekWoks will be available at ToyCon, the 10 resin figures will be available at the UME Toys online store at 9am GMT on Saturday the 12th.

Each “Pinky” GeekWok stands 3” tall, is hand cast in resin and comes signed and numbered on its bottom. Wicket’s nerdy cousin is limited to just 20 pieces and will retail for £32 each.

Furry Feline Creatives and The Toy Chronicle have joined forces to drop an exclusive plush for ToyCon UK 2014! For this special release, Ringo becomes royalty as he travels to England while wearing a Union Jack shirt, a cape and rocking The Toy Chronicle's color scheme. “Sir Ringo” is 100% handmade by Cheri Ong of Furry Feline Creatives and is currently available for pre-order at The Toy Chronicle online store for £30.

ToyCon UK Exclusive Harrington the Third Resin Figure by UME Toys

AT ToyCon UK last weekend Rich Page of UME Toys unveiled his newest creation, Harrington the Third! Clearly drawing inspiration from Bode's Cheech Wizard, Harrington the Third is a 6.5” tall dapper little chap in a cheeky stance with a huge mustache and toe curling cuteness! Seriously, what’s not to love!?! Currently Harington is available in three colorways (Long Pants, Noir and Cyan), and can be purchased at the UME Toys online store for £55.

ToyCon UK Exclusive Gread Resin Figures by UME Toys & Dead Hand Toys

For ToyCon UK last weekend UME Toys teamed up with Dead Hand Toys to release a beautiful set of Gread resin figures! The Blot’s a huge fan the 2” bog monster, and I was really excited to see what Rich Page would do with the figure. Not only did he add eyelids to each Gread, but he also gave them a really cool weathered bronze paint job. They turned out sick if you ask me! 

The ToyCon UK Exclusive Gread Resin Figures by UME Toys has a limited edition run size of just 9 pieces and retails for £14. The remaining figures from last weekend’s show are currently available for purchase at the UME Toys online store. But act fast before these little guys are gone for good!

The Hang Gang x Super7 ToyCon UK Exclusives: Mummy Boy & Foster

The Hang Gang is bringing Super7 to the United Kingdom for ToyCon UK with not one, but two mind blowing exclusives! After a little hiatus and some much deserved peaceful rest, Mummy Boy, Super7’s 6” mascot, has risen again. This eye popping golden idol is cast in shimmering pearlescent Japanese vinyl and features gold, silver and teal sprays. The Blot’s a huge Mummy Boy fan and this color scheme is freaking beautiful!

Continuing The Hang Gang’s ToyCon UK color scheme of teal and pink comes the ToyCon UK Exclusive Foster, everyone’s favorite cannibal ice-cream sandwich. Cast in teal vinyl with a hot pink filling and blue sprays, Super7’s newest Foster looks almost good enough to eat!

Both The Hang Gang x Super7 ToyCon UK exclusives are super limited and will go on sale at 10am when the convention opens at The Hang Gang booth. The Golden Idol Mummy Boy will retail for £45, while the teal Foster will retail for £20.

The Hang Gang is teaming up with Gary Ham to release very special Wooper Looper vinyl figure next weekend! The ToyCon UK Exclusive Wooper Looper is cast in “Tiffany” blue Japanese vinyl and features electric pink and silver sprays. The Blot freaking loves how each color really pops on the figure’s sculpt. This color scheme would really look nice next Gary’s first two Wooper Looper colorways don’t you think!?!
