Funko has announced a new line Wobblers based on the heroes and villains of the DC Comics Universe! Wobblers combine the stylized appeal of contemporary vinyl figures with the traditional collectability of bobble heads. The DC Comics Wobblers Series includes Batman (with a Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman 1 in 6 chase variant), Batgirl of Burnside, and Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn.

SDCC 14 “Flashpoint” Batman & Reverse Flash Bust Paperweight Box Set by DC Comics

At San Diego Comic-Con 2014, DC Comics will be taking us back to its iconic 2011 “Flashpoint” crossover that reshaped the DC Comics universe forever. In the Flashpoint altered timeline, the DC Comics universe took on a very different look. For instance, in the Flashpoint timeline Batman is Thomas Wayne, driven by the murder of this son Bruce to punish Gotham City's criminals. Thomas is an older and more brutal Batman often resorting to lethal force in his one man war on crime.

The “Flashpoint” Batman is paired with Professor Eobard Thawne, The Reverse Flash! In the far future, Thawne traced the origin of super-speed to The Flash. Obsessed with the Scarlet Speedster, Thawne traveled back in time only to discover he was destined to become The Flash's greatest enemy, as The Reverse-Flash!

The San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive “Flashpoint” Bust Paperweight Box Set by DC Comics is limited to just 1,000 sets and includes 5.25” busts of the Flashpoint Batman and Flashpoint Reverse Flash. NYCC 2011 Exclusive Flashpoint Batman Pop! Heroes Vinyl Figure

Here’s some really exciting news, Action Figure Xpress will be releasing a New York Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Flashpoint Batman Pop! Heroes vinyl figure! Now this is not your father’s Batman…well, it is if your name is Bruce Wayne. See this is the Flashpoint Batman as he appears in the bestselling DC Comics crossover Flashpoint. In the Flashpoint universe Bruce Wayne never became Batman, instead it was his father Thomas under the cowl (which explains the slightly different uniform).

Sadly, The Blot has very little information on this unexpected New York Comic-Con 2011 exclusive, but hopefully more information will surface soon! The NYCC 2011 Exclusive Flashpoint Batman DC Universe Pop! Heroes vinyl figure by Funko stands 3.75” tall, has a rotating head and comes in a displayable window box. My guess is this figure will retail for around $15.

DC Direct x Graphitti Designs SDCC 2011 Exclusive Professor Zoom Flashpoint Action Figure

Graphitti Designs is teaming up with DC Direct once again for a killer SDCC exclusive! Spinning out of DC Comics’ companywide summer crossover Flashpoint comes the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Professor Zoom action figure. What’s amazing is this is the first DC Direct x Graphitti Designs convention exclusive in the past 2 years not based on the Blackest Night storyline. While The Blot loves Green Lantern, it is nice to see another section of the DC Universe get a little attention.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Flashpoint: Professor Zoom action figure has a limited edition run size of 4,000 pieces and can be purchased at the Graphitti Designs SDCC booth for around $20.

First Look: Flashpoint Wave 1 Action Figures by DC Direct

Talk about DC Direct being on the ball! DC Comics hasn’t even released the first issue of its upcoming company summer crossover Flashpoint, and here they are already promoting its new line of Flashpoint specific action figures. Evidently DC Direct has been working closely with Flashpoint writer Geoff Johns’ concepts and artist Andy Kubert’s designs to bring you four awesome figures based on the characters central to Flashpoint’s storyline.

Flashpoint Wave 1 consists of The Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg. While The Flash looks kind of lame, how sick are the Cyborg and Wonder Woman figures? I don’t know about you, but these figures have The Blot even more excited about this "what if" type storyline. I might even pick up the books after seeing these character designs. Look for Flashpoint Wave 1 action figures in stores everywhere this summer.
