SDCC 2023 Exclusive The Flash Movie Flash & Batman Cosbaby Vinyl Figures by Hot Toys x Entertainment Earth

Summer is here and that means San Diego Comic-Con 2023 is just around the corner! Entertainment Earth has started to announce their exclusives for this year, including these San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Exclusive The Flash Movie Cosbaby Vinyl Figures by Hot Toys! These The Flash Movie Cosbaby vinyl figures are not articulated but feature rotatable head designs and measures approximately 3.5”-5” tall. This Comic-Con Exclusive The Flash is dressed in his bright red suit covered by lightning like streaks with a luminous reflective coating to represent his immense speed power. The luminous reflective effect can be activated by UV black light.

Michael Keaton’s Batman ’89 is dressed in his updated suit based on the character’s appearance in the upcoming live action film. These limited edition Comic-Con 2023 exclusive figures can be pre-ordered now at Entertainment Earth for just $22.99 each here or at EE’s SDCC booth #2343.

SDCC 2023 Exclusive DC Comics Justice League Metal Miniatures Figures by Factory Entertainment

Factory Entertainment has started to unveil their epic line up of exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2023, including these new SDCC 2023 Exclusive DC Comics Justice League Metal Miniatures Figures of The Flash, Aquaman and Green Lantern. Each DC Comics Justice League Metal Miniature figure is crafted in heavy-weight solid metal alloy and are hand painted.

These miniature metal figures stand 2.5” tall and feature a thematic base. Limited to just 200 pieces, these DC Super Heroes can be purchased at the Factory Entertainment SDCC booth #2743 or online at FactoryEnt.com for $40 each. Factory Entertainment has also made a super limited number (less than 50) of seven piece sets of all of the Justice League super heroes released to date.  These 7 figures are regularly priced at $280 but this SDCC exclusive bundle is only $200!

The Flash: Flashpoint Pop! DC Comics Series 2 Vinyl Figures by Funko

Funko has announced another wave of Pop! vinyl figures for the upcoming WBD live action DC Comics film, The Flash: Flashpoint! As you can imagine, it’s jam packed with different variations of both Ezra Miller’s The Flash and Michael Keaton’s Batman. The Flash: Flashpoint Pop! DC Comics Series 2 includes Prototype Suit Barry Allen, Batman Suit The Flash, Iris West, Armor Suit Batman, Wonder Woman, General Zod, and Dark Flash.

The Blot has zero expectations for Warner Bros’ upcoming live action The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller and based on the popular DC Comics storyline “Flashpoint”. That being said, I am excited to see Michael Keaton again as Batman (especially after WBD shelved HBOMAX’s Batgirl film) and Sasha Calle as a modern age Supergirl! I assume the film will be terrible after all the drama surrounding it, but you never know. Plus we get at least one more scene of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, which is cool. I'd always wish he’d gotten his own movie.

Although Bottleneck Gallery will not be at NYCC 2022 this weekend, they’ve got some amazing pop culture prints planned to release online to celebrate the convention along with BNG’s 10th anniversary. Today, Bottleneck Gallery will be releasing a stunning new movie poster for Zack Snyder’s Justice League by artist Ann Bembi. As BNG explained, “We’ve been having a blast getting some of our favorite artists to create pieces for Zack Snyder’s supersized cut of Justice League. Ann’s print puts our heroes front and center, in all of their posed glory. Looming large behind them is Zack Snyder’s ultimate movie legacy, Darkseid, in all of his evil badassness.”

Zack Snyder’s Justice League by Ann Bembi is a 24”x36” hand numbered giclee print. Zack Snyder’s Justice League Soundtrack 7LP Box Set by Mondo

Today, Mondo continues its DC Comics Universe movie soundtrack series with Tom Holkenborg’s nearly 4 hour, 7 disc soundtrack to the much talked about streaming phenomenon, Zack Snyder’s Justice League!  The Snyder Cut presented Holkenborg with the opportunity to build upon what he had started many years ago, with new skills and tools - this time with no other cook in the kitchen but his director and friend.

“Challenge of the Superfriends” DC Comics Screen Print by Dave Perillo x Grey Matter Art

Oh man, The Blot was super pumped to learn Grey Matter Art would be releasing an officially licensed screen print for one of my all time favorite cartoons, Challenge of the Superfriends, by artist Dave Perillo!  This sequel to the iconic DC Comics cartoon Super Friends pits the ‘70s and ‘80s animated version of the Justice League against the evil Legion of Doom.  As GMA explained, “Dave is able to feature all of our favorite characters into this poster making it an ultimate who’s who of DC Superfriends and it also serves quite well as a companion piece to the Justice League Unlimited poster we did earlier this year!”

DC FanDome kicks off this Saturday, August 22nd, and Expands to 2 Days!

DC FanDome — the first-of-its-kind virtual experience for DC superfans globally — became too massive to contain in the four dimensions of only a single day on Earth-Prime! Fans, your timeline awaits — at your own pace and on your own schedule. Choose your path wisely with the help of the official DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse program scheduler found at DCFanDome.com. It doesn’t have the 12th-level intellect of Brainiac, but it will certainly be a great guide to help you explore the Multiverse on September 12!

And it’s not just the adults who get to have all the fun, the adventure is also heating up for young DC Super Hero fans. Launching Saturday, September 12th, DC Kids FanDome will offer kids (and their parents) a break from the seemingly endless “at home” summer with a kid-friendly companion event to DC FanDome, accessed separately at DCKidsFanDome.com. Justice League Unlimited Screen Print by Dave Perillo x Grey Matter Art

The Blot’s jaw hit the ground yesterday when I learned Grey Matter Art had teamed up with artist Dave Perillo to produce an officially licensed screen print for the iconic DC Comics animated series, Justice League Unlimited!!! JLU was a direct sequel to the Justice League animated series, and focused on the majority of the DC Universe. With this release, Dave showcases some of DC’s most iconic characters displayed in their classic animated form. This poster has some of The Blot’s all time favorite characters – Booster Gold, Fire, Ice, Captain Atom, Vixen, Hawk and Dove – making it a must get for sure! The Blot’s always wanted a screen print with Booster in it and it’s finally here!

Yesterday the internet was set a blaze when news broke that LEGO would be releasing a new DC Super Heroes Mini Figure Blind Bag Series based on DC’s comic book universe! After releasing two DC blind bag mini figure series based on The LEGO Batman Movie, it’s super exciting to finally be getting a LEGO series based on the traditional DC Comics universe. The only disappointing news is that Booster Gold was not included in the series, but at least we’re getting officially licensed LEGO mini figures of Mister Miracle, Huntress and Metamorpho!
