DCon 2022 Exclusive Hello Lukey Vinyl Figures by Luke Chueh

This weekend at Designer Con 2022 in Anaheim, CA, Luke Chueh will be releasing three new colorways of his adorable Hello Lukey sofubi figure!!! Produced by FLABSLAB, Hello Lukey is a homage to the iconic Hello Kitty and sits 3.5” tall. There will be three DCon 2022 Exclusive Colorways – Purple and White Marbled Edition, Blue and White Marbled Edition, and a Wink Edition. All three can be purchased at Luke’s DCon booth #702. The Wink Edition will retail for $45, while the two Marbled Colorways will retail for $55 each.

Hello Lukey Carnage Edition Vinyl Figures by Luke Chueh x FLABSLAB

Last weekend, Luke Chueh released the newest colorway of his adorable Hello Lukey 3.5” sofubi figure! Check out the “Carnage” Hello Lukey, which was cast in beautiful red and black marbled soft Japanese vinyl. Produced by FLABSLAB, Hello Lukey is a homage to the iconic Hello Kitty, while this colorway pays tribute to one of Spider-Man’s greatest villains, Marvel’s Carnage. Beyond the two eyes, nose, and no mouth, Hello Lukey also takes Kitty’s classic seated pose.

The red and black Carnage Edition Hello Lukey is limited to 150 pieces, with 50 available through FLABSLAB and 100 available at LukeChueh.bigcartel.com for $55. The marbling effect of the Carnage colors is created when the vinyl is poured and not through paint or other coloring techniques. As a result, each Carnage Hello Lukey will have their own unique pattern.

Hello Lukey GID and Black & Gold (Wink) Edition Vinyl Figures by Luke Chueh x FLABSLAB

This Friday, Luke Chueh will be releasing two new colorways of his adorable Hello Lukey 3.5” sofubi figure! Hand cast in soft Japanese vinyl, Hello Lukey is a homage to the iconic Hello Kitty. Beyond the two eyes, nose, and no mouth, Hello Lukey also takes Kitty’s classic seated pose. The Black & Gold (Wink) Edition is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $45. This color scheme was originally released in an edition of 100 pieces by FLABSLAB for an event in Singapore. Luke, wanting a run of the colorway himself, decided to change the expression from forlorn to a Hello Kitty styled wink to differentiate his release from the FLABSLAB exclusive.

Hellow Lukey is also being released in a Glow in the Dark Edition, which is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $50. To compliment the GID vinyl, Luke changed the color of the paint detail on the hands to create the narrative that Lukey was playing with something potentially dangerous… something radioactive! From this run of 200 pieces, 100 will be available at flabslab.bigcartel.com and the other 100 will be available at Chueh’s online store. Both colorways will go on sale at 12pm PST on Friday, April 15th, at LukeChueh.bigcartel.com.

Hello Lukey OG Edition Vinyl Figure by Luke Chueh x FLABSLAB

The Blot was pumped to learn the first painted colorway of Luke Chueh’s Hello Lukey sofubi is finally being released tomorrow!  This is Luke’s take on the ever popular Hello Kitty from Japan, which is why FLABSLAB decided to make this in Japan.  The OG Edition is cast in white soft Japanese vinyl and features painted eyes and nose with blood-soaked hands.

This colorway will be an open edition to make it as accessible to collectors as possible. While this initial drop may sell out, FLABSLAB will continue to make additional batches of the OG Edition Hello Lukey from time to time.  Luke will also be selling this colorway eventually, so if the shipping cost from Singapore is a deterrent you can wait for his release.

Hello Lukey 5” Resin Figure by Luke Chueh x Flabslab

This Saturday Luke Chueh’s Hello Lukey returns as a supersized 5” resin figure! It’ll go perfectly with the previously released 3.5” sofubi version. Each resin figure was hand painted by Luke during his visit to Singapore last month. Limited to just 50 pieces, the Hello Lukey resin figure will go on sale at 10am EST this Saturday, January 11th, at Flabslab for $300.

Today, FLABSLAB will be releasing Luke Chueh’s newest vinyl figure, Hello Lukey! Produced in soft Japanese vinyl, Hello Lukey will be available in an Unpainted Red Edition and Unpainted White Edition to celebrate Singapore’s 54th birthday (FLABSLAB’s home country). Each colorway is limited to just 27 pieces, with all 54 figures sold as blind bags. Hello Lukey sits 3.5” tall and will retail for just $35 at the FLABSLAB online store today, Friday, August 9th.
