So here it is, the one San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusive The Blot is still ticked I missed out on! Check out these awesome custom The Manhattan Projects LEGO mini figures by the comic book’s co-creator and artist, Nick Pitarra! Nick painstakingly created LEGO versions of Albert Einstein with a chainsaw, Joseph Oppenheimer with some radioactive material, and Harry Daghlian with a wrench. This amazing Image comic book series is one of The Blot’s favorite books, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Now if only I could get my hands on one of these sets! Nick, holler at your boy!

The Manhattan Projects Custom LEGO Mini Figures Series 1 come packaged in a pretty cool display case with a reproduction of the Manhattan Projects Volume 1 trade as its background. Rumor has it Series 1 is limited to between 15 and 20 sets, and while I assume Nick sold out I’m still hoping he’s got one or two left. Cross your fingers for me!
