Spider-Man Tsum Tsum Marvel Plush Series by Disney

On Tuesday, March 15th, Disney will be releasing its third wave of Marvel Tsum Tsum stackable plush dolls! This exciting release will be Spider-Man themed and include a modern take on Marvel’s beloved web-head and four of his most feared foes. Marvel Tsum Tsum Plush Series 3 includes Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Green Goblin, The Lizard, Rhino and Venom.

All five Spider-Man Tsum Tsum Plushes will be available in the popular 3.5” mini size at DisneyStore.com and Disney Store retail locations for $4.95. No word yet on which characters will be released as 11" medium and 17" large Tsum Tsums, but you can expect multiple releases in each size.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 “Villain” Movie Posters

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 finally hits theaters today in the US, and based on everything I’ve read it’s getting hammered by the critics. One thing that hasn’t helped the film is the number of villains clogging up the story. The Blot’s really surprised Sony didn’t learn its lesson with Spider-Man 3 from just a few years ago. I do like how these “Villain” teaser one sheet movie posters allude to the three villains appearing in ASM2: Electro, Green Goblin and Rhino. I’m really excited to see how this film leads into the rumored Sinister Six live action film.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters everywhere today, Friday, May 2nd.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Marvel Movie Minimates

Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum continue their popular line of Marvel Movie Minimates with a new wave of Amazing Spider-Man 2 specific mini figures! Dropping this month just as ASM2 swings into theaters, Marvel Minimates Series 56 includes four 2 packs: Spider-Man with Norman Osborn (Green Goblin), Battle Damaged Spider-Man with Electro, Graduation Peter Parker with Gwen Stacy, and Alistair Smythe with Aleksei Sytsevich (The Rhino).

Each Amazing Spider-Man 2 Marvel Movie Minimates Set includes two 2” mini figures featuring 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable parts and accessories. These ASM2 Minimates 2 Packs will be available at comic shops and specialty stores later this month for around $10 each.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Teaser Movie Poster Triptic & 1st Trailer

The Blot’s been anxiously waiting for our first live action look at Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While the photos I’ve seen these past few months haven’t really excited me, the film’s first trailer (released yesterday) looks fantastic! I love all the action, but don’t take my word for it. Watch the trailer below in all its Marvel glory! Sadly, I hate what Sony’s done with two of Spidey’s signature villains, Electro and the Rhino. Why can’t they just go with the characters’ traditional looks? As you can see from the ASM 2 teaser movie poster triptic above, these are not the villains’ signature looks by any means. I'm reserving judgement on the Green Goblin until we see more of the villain.
