Rocky Dennis: True Champion of Life Resin Figure by Junk Fed x Alex Pardee

For Junk Fed’s newest pop culture inspired resin figure release, he has teamed up with Alex Pardee to release Rocky Dennis: True Champion of Life! As Alex explains, “Rocky Dennis was born with a cranial disease that caused calcium to build up on his bones, severely deforming his skull and harming his neurological system. Most babies born with this disease die very young. But despite his handicap, Rocky Dennis overcame all obstacles to become a TRUE CHAMPION OF LIFE (and accomplished poet) and a pretty good young biker. It is because of his heroism that Junk Fed and myself have teamed up to honor him in this true form of his spirit.”

Each figure, which also pays tribute to the world’s 2nd most famous Rocky – Rocky Balboa – is individually hand cast, painted, finished, and comes on a custom card illustrated and designed by Alex Pardee. 25 of these Rocky Dennis: True Champion of Life Resin Figure by Junk Fed and Alex Pardee will debut at New York Comic Con 2015 at the Junk Fed NYCC booth #225 for $75 each.

Later today Mondo will be releasing three movie posters for the first three films in the Rocky franchise! And let’s be honest, those are the only three Rocky films that really count, right!?! Originally available at the Alamo Drafthouse's Sylvester Stallone Birthday Celebration, Mondo will be releasing their remaining copies online at a random time today, Tuesday, August 19th. This release includes Rocky by Cesar Moreno and Rocky II and Rocky III by Matt Taylor.
