Hung Rainbow Edition Zipper Pull Blind Box Series by Luke Chueh x Munky King

After debuting at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Munky King has released the Rainbow Edition Hung Zipper Pull Blind Box Series by Luke Chueh online! Based on the artwork of Luke Chueh and featuring his signature creation, the Sad Bear, the Hung zipper pull doubles as a mini vinyl figure, keychain and phone charm…basically use it for whatever you want! The Rainbow Hung is available in seven colors – orange, blue, pink, red, green and yellow – and one mystery chase colorway.

Each Rainbow Hung vinyl figure stands 1.5” tall and comes with a small lobster clasp, 6cm noose strap, and a phone attachment. Because of the obvious dark/morbid narrative to this piece, Munky King and Luke Chueh will donate a portion of all Rainbow Hung sales to charities for the prevention of suicide.

Headspace Vinyl Figure Grey Set by Luke Chueh x Munky King

After debuting at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Munky King has released two new color sets of Luke Chueh’s popular Headspace vinyl figure online! The second set available now is the Headspace Grey Set, which features a 5” tall all grey vinyl body with two swappable heads: a Star Wars Boba Fett helmet and a Bear head. The Headspace figure itself is based on a series of paintings created by Luke Chueh over the past couple years, which pays homage to the things that have had an impact on his life/career – like Star Wars.

What is unclear to The Blot is if this particular Boba Fett helmet/body combination is any different from the Bounty Hunter Headspace figure Munky King released at SDCC 2016 last year (seen here). The Headspace Grey Set by Luke Chueh is available now at the Munky King online store for $60.

The Prisoner Black Beauty Edition Resin Figure by Luke Chueh x Munky King

After debuting at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Munky King has released the fifth colorway of Luke Chueh’s The Prisoner resin figure online! Based on Luke Chueh’s original painting, The Prisoner ponders captivity in its many forms - physical, mental, or in some cases, pharmaceutical. The Black Beauty Edition The Prisoner features a 1.5” black Bear in a prescription pill bottle. Black Beauties (aka Dextroamphetamine) was originally formulated as a diet pill, but quickly became the drug of choice for truck drivers during the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, prior to the advent of methamphetamine.

SDCC 2017 Exclusive Thor: Ragnarok Movie Poster

As part of Marvel’s epic San Diego Comic-Con 2017 panel in Hall H, the movie studio released this insanely awesome Thor: Ragnarok movie poster. We’ve gotten some really bad and really good Marvel movie posters of the year, but this might be one of their best! What The Blot likes about it the most is it almost looks like a Mondo screen print. While most Marvel movie posters look like photoshopped hot messes that are just utilizing random stills combined together, this poster actually looks like each character posed specifically for the poster's design for a killer look.

Many would say the Thor franchise was one of Marvel’s least popular, but Ragnarok looks amazing! I love that they totally took the Thor series in a different direction to great results. In The Blot’s opinion, no movie got a bigger bump coming out of SDCC than Thor: Ragnarok. Every clip, trailer and poster for the film has been fantastic, and fans are eating it up. November 3rd can’t get here soon enough!

SDCC 2017 Exclusive Black Panther Teaser Movie Poster

As part of Marvel’s huge San Diego Comic-Con 2017 panel in Hall H, the movie studio released this fantastic Black Panther teaser movie poster! From what The Blot understands, fans in attendance at the panel even got their own copy. Black Panther looks amazing, and I loved seeing the cast of the film celebrated all week at San Diego Comic-Con. Doesn’t T'Challa look bad ass on the top of that panther statue up on a mountain looking down on Wakanda!?! This film is going to be huge, and The Blot can’t wait to see it.

SDCC 2017 Exclusive Justice League Teaser Movie Poster

As part of Warner Bros’ big San Diego Comic-Con 2017 panel in Hall H, the movie studio released this killer Justice League teaser one sheet movie poster! Some lucky fans even got the poster below signed by the cast. Just check out eBay to see what crazy amounts these posters are going for now on the secondary market! As most are pointing out, it seems pretty clear that the poster’s layout is based on Alex Ross’ iconic Justice League painting for a previously released DC Comics posters and comic books.

I really love how they incorporated all six heroes' logos into the poster's text. The Blot’s got no idea why Warner Bros continues to keep Superman out of the film’s trailers and posters - because we all know he’s going to appear - but at least they included his S-shield symbol in the text of this one sheet. Best of all, I can’t get over how heroic Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg look here. Hopefully the movie can look this good!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Movie Poster Screen Print by Ken Taylor x Mondo x Marvel

Mondo’s last big unveil of San Diego Comic-Con 2017 yesterday was this killer, officially licensed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 movie poster by Ken Taylor! Not only did Mondo drop a variant of this poster at SDCC, but they announced the regular edition would be available the rest of this week as a timed edition. What a beautiful Marvel movie poster! Sign me up…

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 by Ken Taylor is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive Variant is limited to 200 pieces. The Regular Edition is available as a timed edition from now through 12pm CST on Thursday, July 27th, at the Mondo online store for $60.

I think it’s safe to say this is the most number of concept art movie posters Marvel has ever released at one SDCC! Today, Marvel gave out this awesome San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive Ant-Man and the Wasp Concept Art Movie Poster by Andy Park at their booth to fans for free. What’s really interesting about this poster is that it doesn’t feature Ant-Man and the Wasp, but Giant-Man and the Wasp! I wonder what that tells us about the upcoming film?!? And could we see Ant-Man and Giant-Man in the film at the same time with the addition of Laurence Fishburne to the cast as Bill Foster aka Black Goliath aka Giant-Man?

Sculpted and produced by Greg Aronowitz, collectors can choose from “Dick Hugger” or “Face-Off Dick” mini busts. This is the 2nd colorway of the Dick Hugger statue, and the very first release of Alex’s Face-Off Dick statue.

SDCC 2017 First Look: Ninja Turtles x Ghostbusters Action Figures by Playmates

The Blot is such a sucker for a good mash-up, so one of the coolest unveilings at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 this week was this new line of Ninja Ghostbusters action figures by Playmates! Inspired by the upcoming IDW comic book series featuring the Ghostbusters and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Ninja Ghostbusters reimagines the Ninja Turtles as if they were The Real Ghostbusters.

This new toy line includes Leonardo as Dan Aykroyd’s Ray Stantz, Donatello as Harold Ramis’ Egon Spengler, Michelangelo as Bill Murray’s Peter Venkman, and Raphael as Ernie Hudson’s Winston Zeddemore. What do you think of this new line of articulated TMNT x Ghostbusters action figures!?!
