It’s X-Men day here in the US as FOX’s X-Men: Apocalypse finally opens in theaters across America! To celebrate the film’s release, check out this awesome set of X-Men: Apocalypse teaser character movie posters featuring the franchise’s entire cast. I know reviews have been generally lukewarm (to negative), The Blot still really wants to see Apocalypse. So many awesome Marvel characters in one film can’t be all that bad, can it?

FOX has released an awesome new movie posters for their upcoming Marvel film X-Men: Apocalypse, and it looks great! The Blot loves how this X-Men: Apocalypse Final International IMAX theatrical one sheet features both the franchise’s stars along with the new crop of ‘80s era mutants. I just wish the film was as good as this poster. From the reviews I’ve read so far Apocalypse sounds like a dud…or at least just slightly better than Batman v Superman. Here’s hoping it’s way better than that!

After releasing an X-Men: Apocalypse “villains” movie poster earlier in the week (seen here), you know FOX had to release a matching heroes poster sometime soon. Thankfully they wasted no time and just yesterday unveiled this awesome X-Men: Apocalypse “Defend” teaser one sheet movie poster featuring Marvel’s merry band of mutants, the X-Men! The poster features a now bald Professor X flanked by his First Class team of Mystique and Beast, Quicksilver from Days of Future Past, and his newest X-Men recruits (making their debut in Apocalypse) Cyclops, Jean Grey and Nightcrawler! Does this team of X-Men look formidable or what!?!

Although The Blot hasn’t been blown away by the X-Men: Apocalypse trailers I’ve seen so far, I absolutely love the teaser one sheet movie posters FOX has been releasing. Their newest “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” teaser poster is awesome! It features Marvel's evil Apocalypse with the movie version of his horseman: Magneto, Psylocke, Storm and Archangel. They look fantastic, don’t you think!?! Maybe some of the best comic book movie villains of all time.

X-Men: Apocalypse Character Movie Poster - Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse

The Blot is a huge fan of Oscar Isaac’s work and I really love FOX’s soft reboot of its X-Men franchise, so why do I have so many concerns about the upcoming Marvel film X-Men: Apocalypse!?! Probably because Isaac’s portrayal of the titular villain looks terrible! After two almost perfect X films (First Class and Days of Future Past), how in the world could Bryan Singer screw up such an important character!?!

Everything The Blot’s seen of Oscar’s movie version of Apocalypse, the world’s first mutant, looks super lame. Not only is his dialogue and voice over work in the film’s first two trailers pretty bad, but his visuals don’t match up to the imposing brute we’ve all come to know and love in the Marvel comics. I don’t even know what to think about this new character one sheet movie poster featuring Apocalypse and a disintegrating skull. The film’s one saving grace is that all of the other beloved X-Men characters debuting in X-Men: Apocalypse look great! I mean have you see the new Jubilee!?!

X-Men: Apocalypse Teaser Movie Poster & 1st Official Trailer

The very first trailer for FOX’s upcoming X-Men Apocalypse has hit the internet, along with this teaser one sheet movie poster. Although The Blot is still excited to see this film, the trailer really left me feeling underwhelmed. Oscar Isaacs’ Apocalypse looks terrible and there was no real excitement in the trailer. Yes, we got great looks at the new Storm, Jubilee, Archangel and Psylocke, but the story looked terrible. Did the whole trailer really build up to our first look at James McAvoy’s Charles Xavier finally going bald!?! What a ho-hum kick off to what should be a huge blockbuster.

SDCC 15 Exclusive X-Men: Apocalypse Concept Art Teaser Movie Poster

Last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, FOX gave attendees a very special first look at their upcoming X-Men film, X-Men: Apocalypse! This ‘80s era film’s main antagonist will be the evil Apocalypse (portrayed by Oscar Isaac), who looked fantastic in the leaked footage The Blot saw yesterday. Until the teaser trailer is officially released, this San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive X-Men: Apocalypse Teaser Movie Poster featuring concept artwork from the film is our best look at Isaac’s version of the classic Marvel bad guy. This was evidently given away by FOX to fans at SDCC 2015.
