Tenebre Screen Print by Francesco Francavilla x Mutant

Mutant has released this fantastic new Tenebre movie poster by acclaimed artist, Francesco Francavilla. As Mutant explained, “If you’ve followed our output over the years, you know that we are big fans of Dario Argento’s films, and especially his monumental work in the giallo genre. 1982’s Tenebre is one of the genre’s most important entries, and really, one of the more interesting horror films ever made. The plot was inspired by a real-life interaction where a fan blamed Argento for the psychologically damaging effects of his films. It is a gorgeous (but brutal), classic piece of Italian cinema.”

“For the poster, we were excited to again team up with Italian illustrator Francesco Francavilla. Argento and Francavilla are a perfect match, with the latter’s violent, pulpy style feeling incredibly authentic to the era.” – Mutant

Tenebre by Francesco Francavilla is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print.  The Regular Edition features 8 colors, is limited to 110 pieces, and will retail for $65, while the Variant features 7 colors, is limited to 60 pieces, and will retail for $80. Both colorways are available for pre-order now at MadeByMutant.com.
