SDCC 13 Exclusive “The Android's Dungeon” The Simpsons Screen Print by Dave Perillo

ACME Archives is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2013 and they’re bringing with them an awesome new Simpsons screen print by Dave Perillo! “The Android’s Dungeon” pays homage to The Simpsons’ Comic Book Guy and his popular comic book and baseball card shop.

“The Android’s Dungeon” by Dave Perillo is a 12”x24” The Simpsons hand signed and numbered screen print. This San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusive is limited to just 250 pieces and will retail for $50 exclusively at the ACME Archives SDCC booth #5629.

SDCC 13 Exclusive Boba Fett Deluxe Mini Bust by Gentle Giant

Cherry Octopup Vinyl Figure by Nathan Hamill

Not only is tomorrow Nathan Hamill’s birthday, but it also marks the debut of his very first sofubi vinyl figure, Octopup! The Blot got a top secret first look at this awesome new figure when Nathan was in Houston last month for Comicpalooza and it rocks! Produced by 3DRetro, Octopup will be coming out every month in a different color in extremely small runs. What a super cool idea, right!?!

The very first edition of Nathan Hamill’s Octopup is the Cherry Pup Edition, a clear cherry candy flavor-way in honor of June which is National Candy Month. The pup is a cute 2 inches tall and is cast in soft translucent red Japanese vinyl. Pick one up from 3DRetro’s online store for just $10 today, June 25th, at 1pm PST.

Clusterf*ck Custom Munny by Huck Gee

This is it, the final custom figure in Huck Gee’s Heavy Trooper series! When Enclave 13's Heavy Trooper badboys and badgirls need backup, they call in "Clusterf*ck". Trading mobility and vertical clearance for mech stopping fire power, the cluster rocket mounted variant of the GR4 Heavy Trooper shell is one evil mother!

Shadow Edition “Creeping” Dero Resin Figure by Jermaine Rogers - Possible SDCC 13 Exclusive!?!

At opening night of Jermaine Rogers’ solo art show at the SCION AV installation space on Saturday a mysterious third colorway of his new “Creeping” Dero resin figure appeared. Featuring his signature “Shadow” color scheme, might this be the San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusive Jermaine’s been teasing??? Since he’s only mentioned three colorways so far, The Blot’s guessing the black and read Shadow Edition “Creeping” Dero seen above will be his SDCC 2013 exclusive. SDCC 13 Exclusive Southern Edition Death Serpent Vinyl Figure by Jesse Hernandez

The Death Serpent, Jesse Hernandez’ epic vinyl figure, makes its long awaited return at San Diego Comic-Con 2013! For SDCC 2013 the Death Serpent will be rocking Jesse’s signature Southern Edition color scheme of dark blue, light blue, white and gray. SDCC 13 Exclusive DC HeroClix Trinity of Sin Team Base: Pandora, The Phantom Stranger & The Question

The Blot has never actually played HeroClix, but I do occasionally buy the HeroClix figures of my favorite DC and Marvel super heroes. They’re pretty cool figures regardless of whether or not you actually play the table top game. This San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive DC HeroClix Trinity of Sin Team Base is based upon content from the upcoming Justice League crossover event “Trinity War.”

The Trinity of Sin are Pandora, the Phantom Stranger, and the Question. Accused of being Earth's greatest transgressors, these three characters are together for the first time as HeroClix mini figures in this San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive DC HeroClix Set from WizKids Games (a subsidiary of NECA). I can’t lie, I really hate the New 52 versions of the Phantom Stranger and the Question. Really more so the Question as they’ve totally destroyed that character’s history. But if you’re a fan of DC’s new Justice League series then you’ll probably like this set.

The Trinity of Sin come together on a team base, or can be played or displayed on individual bases as well. Pick up this DC Comics HeroClix Team Base at NECA’s SDCC booth #3145 for $25.

If you’re a fan of Titan Entertainment’s new line of Doctor Who blind box mini figures (designed by Matt Jones) then you’re really going to love this San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Tuxedo Variant 10th Doctor vinyl figure! Based on the Doctor’s look from the 2007 Christmas special “Voyage of the Damned”, this limited edition figure can only be purchased at SDCC from Titan Entertainment’s booth #5537 for just $10.

The Blot always loves these extremely random pop culture mash up t-shirt designs Threadless releases every once in a while. They take multiple immediately identifiable characters and put them in a weird situation like in “Some People Shouldn’t Hi 5”. For instance, in this one design you’ve got Freddy Krueger, Edward Scissorhands, Wolverine, Iron Man, Luke Skywalker and Ash from The Evil Dead trilogy all giving each other hi fives and cutting off the other person's hand (if not more). You can’t cram in all these awesome movie and comic book characters into one t-shirt design and not come up with an awesome image!

Threadless always releases the coolest comic book inspired designs, and The Blot really digs the retro cool of “A Bat and A Cat” t-shirt. It’s got that Mad Men mod vibe to it with a unique realistic take Batman and Catwoman. The bat and cat heads are maybe a bit over the top, but that’s probably the only way to get around the DC Comics licensing issue. Either way it’s a very cool design that’ll make an excellent addition to anyone’s closet!
