Wow, the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con is still over three months away, but the hype is already building. This year’s convention is scheduled for July 24th - 27th, and if you haven’t already planned your trip to San Diego it may already be too late as rooms go extremely fast. There are always a ton of exclusive toys and comics sold only at Comic-Con, and this year seems no different. Hasbro has already announcing three exclusive Mighty Muggs figures that can only be found only at the 2008 SDCC.
Back in February MarvelousNews.com announced that Hasbro would be releasing a 2008 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Iron Man Movie Version Mighty Mugg for its Marvel Legends Mighty Muggs line. (link) Now comes news from JediDefender.com that Hasbro will also be releasing exclusive SDCC figures for its other two Mighty Muggs lines. (link)For their Star Wars Mighty Muggs line Hasbro will be releasing an exclusive SDCC Commander Gree Mighty Mugg. And for their Indiana Jones Mighty Muggs line Hasbro will be releasing an exclusive SDCC Golden Idol Mighty Mugg (also known as the Chachapoyan Fertility Idol). These figures are limited edition and are sure to sell out fast, so if you hope to add one to your Mighty Muggs/Urban Vinyl collection start planning your flight to San Diego now or be prepared to pay out the nose come August on eBay.
