Next week at New York Comic-Con 2012 Nathan Hamill will be unveiling his newest vinyl figure, Strife and Sire, at Tenacious Toys’ NYCC booth #3121 on Friday, Oct 12th, at 3pm! Nathan will also be on hand to sign for those lucky fans able to take home this 7” vinyl figure. Strife, a warrior imp of Calendula, was an attendant and protector of the once mighty but now fallen god, Sire. Though only his skull remains, Strife is a loyal creature through and through. He still watches over Sire in death, awaiting his prophesied return.
The Blot loves the look of Strife and Sire, and it’s almost like you’re getting two figures for the price of one. I’m really interested in finding out whether they come apart, but regardless this piece will definitely make an awesome addition to anyone’s collection. The Standard Edition Strife and Sire (seen above) has a limited edition run size of 150 pieces and will retail for $50. Fear not west coast collectors unable to travel east for NYCC, the Toy Art Gallery will be hosting an official Strife and Sire launch event in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct 20th.
