Gallery 1988 was commissioned by Paramount Pictures to create a promotional image for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the new G.I. Joe movie that debuted last weekend, and artist Anthony Petrie created this incredibly iconic image that was also turned into a beautiful screen print! If this looks more like a photograph than a screen printed poster you’d be right. Anthony actually created a Cobra American flag from scratch and then photographed it to create the print. And yes, the red and white stripes do form the Arashikage clan’s logo. This image is seriously epic!!!
