Last night D*Face had a release party for his book The Art of D*Face: One Man and His Dog at the Stephen Webster boutique in LA. Shepard Fairey wrote an essay for the book and the two artists designed a collaborative print in honor of the event. The Blot was seriously drooling over this beautiful “Face to *Face” 3 color (metallic silver, red and black) screen print the minute I saw it. While not an intricate design, I love the merging of these two iconic street artists’ signature creations (and styles) in one beautiful print. Sadly, The Blot had zero chance to get my hands on one as they were only available at the event.
The OBEY Giant x D*Face “Face to *Face” screen print measures 18”x24”, comes signed by both artists and is limited to just 200 pieces. Those lucky enough to attend the book launch party at Stephen Webster last night could pick this epic print up for just $80.
