Nothing makes The Blot happier (toy wise at least) than when a really cool figure I love gets a comic book inspired colorway! So I was beyond pumped to learn Star Case was teaming up with DKE Toys to release three Marvel inspired colorways of their popular Dester Commando vinyl figure exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con 2015. The Dester Commando is a killer sofubi Star Wars bootleg of an old school Stormtrooper vinyl figure, which looks even more amazing with color schemes inspired by Captain America, Iron Man and Wolverine! The Blot already can’t get enough of Star Case’s many Star Wars bootleg figures, so I really don’t know how I’m going to be able to not pick up all three of these Comic-Con exclusive colorways.
Each San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive Marvel Edition Dester Commando Vinyl Figure by Star Case stands 6” tall, is cast in soft Japanese vinyl, comes hand painted and bagged with a header card. Each Super Hero Edition is limited to just 25, and can purchase this awesome ceramic statue at the DKE Toys SDCC booth #5045 for $85 each.
